I've used several brain game apps over the last 5 years. While the onboarding process is quite long for this app, I did not feel there was a significant benefit over other options. I attempted to cancel my trial on October 11, 2024. Because there is no user account control feature I was forced to contact customer service. Customer Service response was received on October 14. When I replied to Customer Service on Oct 15, my account has already been charged. I requested a refund AND CANCELATION of my account. The next email from Customer Service confirmed my cancellation request and indicated no refunds would be given. Even though I attempted to cancel my free trial on my own Oct 11, 2024, a full 3 days prior to the auto renewal, I am still being charged. It's impossible for me to recommend using this app when there are so many others that work as well AND HAVE MORE USER DRIVEN ACCOUNT CONTROL. Moral of the story, don't sign up for apps that require you to contact their customer service team for cancellation or termination of account.

Multiple fraudulent charges

I have recently been charged four separate times from this app even though I canceled it months ago. Now I have to reset all of my information and get a new bank card. FRAUD!! UPDATE: developer response to all of these negative reviews is to post a condescending response saying that the app is a subscription service and must be cancelled not just deleted from your phone. I’m sure some people might not be tech savvy and not know how subscriptions work but I for one do and it has stated that it has been cancelled for months even though I continue to have access until my year is over. Dear developers it would be nice of you to not steal money from your customers and then be snarky to them when they call you out on your predatory practices. How about you refund everyone who has been scammed by you before someone decides to look into your business and see if your behavior meets the requirements for legal action.

We’re sorry to hear this! Unfortunately, deleting the app doesn’t cancel the subscription. To cancel via Apple, go to Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions, then tap Cancel. If you subscribed on our website, email us at support@brainbloom.me — we’ll cancel and issue a refund.
Fun…but…major issues

While the games are fun and I enjoy the challenge, there are several major issues with the app. Some of the games will not proceed to the next level, even though you successfully complete them. Some games are time based and when screen changes occur the clock doesn’t pause between load times. The biggest issue, if I complete a challenge but I can’t go to the next level (literally level 7 of many more levels to go), it makes me want to delete the app. I’ve cancelled my subscription, don’t prepay annually for this app….dev needs to step up and do a better job.

Often fun but errors on tests!

Using the app and it can be fun, tho I remain skeptical of the benefits. I took the brain age test and there is an error. One question asked to find the answer: 3+5-6+3*2+3. Answers offered were 7,8,9,10. Unfortunately , the correct answer is 11, not among the choices offered. If you don’t believe me ask google. In fact as I tried to text the problem to the various mathematicians in the family Apple kept spontaneously supplying the correct answer. Anyway, fix your tests. Does this mean my brain is young?
