HxGN® NetWorks Core | Mobile is a mobile application for end-to-end redline collection workflows based on HxGN® NetWorks Core data, which can be used offline, in locations with limited network connectivity. It is fully integrated within the HxGN® NetWorks Core suite.
A powerful application made for field workers, working on light devices – iPads and iPhones – capable of disconnected (offline) work in areas without a viable signal coverage. Users of HxGN NetWorks Core | Mobile experience the rich presentation of the asset data and related assets in an easily navigated UI and can participate in connected workflows across the field and the office.

11.01.2507 Apr 30
- Map display: External WMS/WMTS sources can be added to the legend and map. Improved tile caching provides faster panning and zooming. Rendering fixes improve boundary styles and scale handling.
- Legends: Define and switch between multiple legend trees without losing map position. Reset the whole legend or just selected nodes. All levels now support “locatable” and “use display scale.”
- Redlines: Draw new geometry types including circles, ellipses, and freehand lines. Each geometry can be styled separately. Redlines now integrate with GNSS for placing and editing. Symbols are shown when editing styles.
- Coordinates: On-map overlays show coordinates in project projection or WGS84, in DMS or decimal format. A new readout dialog supports copying and pasting, coordinate format switching, and selecting update modes (map center, tap, or both).
- GNSS support: New pane displays GNSS antenna data. Accuracy is shown with color indicators. Antenna pole height configuration improves altitude precision.
- Navigation arrow: supports simple navigation to selected points with distance and orientation display.
- Measurements: New subtraction tool supports length differences. Element length and Length along element now allow adding/subtracting multiple features at once, showing both total and individual lengths. Multiple measurement types can be added simultaneously and saved together in a single file.
- Planar calculations are now used by default for length measurements. Geodesic (3D) calculation can be enabled in the project configuration.
- Usability: Fit and Center buttons separated, toolbar help button added, and context menu opacity is configurable for semi-transparent menus.
- Data & projects: Feature labels shown across menus and explorer. Open projects can be deleted. PDF prints now include border, header, and remarks.
- Downloads & logging: Alternative download method available in Settings. In-app logging added with an option to save or share zipped logs.
- Improved Repeating Component Navigation
- Repeating components can now be viewed in Grid (like Designer) or Grouped List (like Portal). Users can switch between views for faster, easier navigation, eliminating the need to paginate through each component individually.
- APIs: New plugin APIs for feature location, marker icons, and select point.
- System update: App Transport Security is now enforced, improving iOS security compliance.
- Hiding built-in menu items is now possible by plugin configuration.
- Fixed ordering of repeating components without G3E_ORDERBYKEY specified.
- Minor fixes and UI enhancements.
Feature Editor
- Fix for empty message after workset submission.
- Fixed default ordering by G3E_CID.
Known issues
- Need to restart the app after obtaining AR license for the first time.
