I initially had a problem where the app would disappear after I entered the password for my 7-zip file that I selected, but after reinstalling the app, I had no issues in opening my previous encrypted 7-zip files. The apps creates a menu option that appears when you right click on a zip file which makes it convenient to use without using the app finder to open it first before using it.

I purchased this version, after downloading the free version, which also advertised that it would open pkg files. The first time I ran that program and tried unpacking the pkg file, I got a pop up message from the developer that the version I had downloaded only supported a handful of files and that I should purchase the 'Pro' version. I did that, and now I am trying to unpack a .pkg file from Apple to create a bootable installer file. After right clicking the pkg file and navigating to the program to open it, it opens the folder where the pkg file is but the file is greyed out. Unhappy about this. It's false advertising to lure people into something for free and then a second time, lure them into purchasing something that still doesn't deliver.

Hello, the software supports decompressing pkg files. Simply drag and drop it into the window to complete the decompression process. If you want to install the pkg package, double-click it directly.
Not a Pro version of the original

I have been using the free version called "Unzip - RAR ZIP 7Z Unarchiver" and it works great. I was having a few little issues and thought that the Pro version would solve those by being more capable at doing what this program does. Fooled me!! The pro version is a completely different program. The free version allows you to open files, see the list of files, preview and export single files, and drag-and-drop files into the archive. The "Pro" version does nothing but extract the entire archive. I have other free programs that work that way. If this "Pro" version was a better version of the free version, I would have been a happy camper. Going back to the free version.

Hello, the pro version supports double click decompression, supports more formats, supports file encryption, and decompression is faster, but the preview is canceled. All other functions are better than the free version

I downloaded this after attempting to open an .exe file in the free version, and was told that this can be achieved using the pro version. Lo and behold, the full version can't do what I need to either, and it's telling me again that I need the pro version, despite me using the pro version.I noticed that the developer is als writing to everyone else with the same issues, claiming that it's because the exe is video format instead of compressed, but the particular file I am trying to extract is definitely compressed format as I confirmed on another platform that can read the file but not extract.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Regardless of whether the decompression is successful or not, exe cannot be installed on MacOS because it is an installation package for Windows systems, and the two systems are not compatible unless you install dual systems.
Fixed the issue of incompatible library files in lower versions of MacOS.
