Game does not give out coins, the only reward in the game

It took me a couple levels to realize that I was not getting ANY reward (coins) for passing levels. Right passing a level, it shows how many coins you won & that you do have a coin count, but when you go to upgrade or buy a gun, there’s ZERO coins. I even watched ads to get double coins & never got awarded those. So there really is no point to this game if you can never upgrade or buy gun and you never get any rewards for playing. Waste of time.
