eTAX Mobile App Makes Your Tax Matters Easier
eTAX is a mobile application launched by the Inland Revenue Department (IRD), the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. It provides a secure and convenient platform for individuals to manage their tax matters anytime, anywhere with ease. Key features include:
• Secure Login: Supports login via the “iAM Smart” account, combined with biometric authentication (e.g. fingerprint or facial recognition) on personal mobile devices for enhanced security and convenience.
• Messages Box: Users can view tax-related messages, alerts, and personal tax information issued by the IRD in real time.
• Quick Access to Individual Tax Portal: With a simple tap on the “Services” button, users can access the IRD’s Individual Tax Portal to use a wide range of online tax services such as e-filing tax returns, checking records and e-Stamping of documents.
This app promotes e-Government services, streamlines procedures, and enhances user experience, enabling a smarter and more efficient way to handle tax matters.
