So one user writes a review that as soon as the PRIMO land screen loads up it crashes… Well it’s because you need to open it in Garage Band, or Logic Pro, or Cubasis 3 as an Audio Unit, Auv3… don’t feel bad I too did the same thing, and just clicked the app as a standalone app and was like What the… But it needs to load up in the DAW you use.It’s actually a REALLY good app…. The GUI (the interface) is actually very straight forward, but has a surprising amount of sound shaping features. I played a bass track through it to add some grit and it did an awesome job! The sound wasn’t ’Digital Harsh’ but smooth and rich, the presets are really useful… I really like the whole app,* Appearance is spot on and not cluttered (on my 2024 iPad Pro) * The sound, which is what we care about, sounds amazing, adds loudness without noise!* The functionality is what makes this app useful, and every who records music on their iPad knows that you have to adjust the levels, whether the levels coming into Daw, or going out of the Daw into headphones, or speakers! This app not only does its job top level, but does it FOR FREE!Thank you Developers!

First of all, it sounds great. You get get some really good clean tones and you can also push this thing to get some pretty solid crunchier tones as well. Primo works well as a base guitar amp if you want to chain it with other plugins. I use it as an all in one workhorse for cover music and church and it gets the job done well. I’m able to open it in Camelot and AUM which is a huge plus for me so you can run multiple instances of this plugin and it’s not overly CPU hungry. The interface is easy to use and you’re not bogged down with a ton of extra. I’d recommend this app to anyone, especially if you’re looking for a good sounding workhorse app that you don’t have to spend a ton of time to craft a solid tone. Great job guys!

Awesome sounding app. And it is free. So what;s there not to like? This works fine in all hosts that i tested, including AUM. I have used it since the very first release and haven’t had any issues with this app at all. Really unfortunate how one 1 star reviewer brings down the overall rating of this incredible app. It is free so why complain about something that didn’t even cost you anything in the first place. Instead be grateful for a developer that offers such a great app at no cost during these expensive times… and just submit a bug-report instead of leaving a 1-star rating. Treat people the same way you wish to be treated… Thanks for an amazing app!!!

Great sound, and FINALLY someone made a great effects UI for a touch screen. so many others waste valuable screen real estate with images of physical pedals and amps. I love the looks of that classic equipment, but it doesn't help during performance. Why shackle a new platform with pictures of an old platform.This app doesn't have every effect. On the contrary, it covers all the basics--2 channel amp with drive, cabs,ir loading, compressor, overdrive, chorus, phaser, delay, reverb, noise gate. And those basics are anything but basic; they've each got a broad range of expressive tone.On top off that, the standalone version has a very nice performance mode that lets you cycle between scenes (ordered groups of presets for a song) and presets.Great work!
