Streamline your weekly sermon preparation. Access contextual Bible commentaries, original word studies, and the Sermon Refiner—all in one quiet workspace. Sermon Assist is a sermon preparation app for pastors, preachers, and ministry leaders. Build expository, topical, or conversational sermon outlines, study Scripture with Bible commentary, and walk into Sunday ready to preach. This is a study tool. It will never replace the Holy Spirit, prayer, or your own time in God’s Word. SERMON OUTLINES Create a sermon outline from a Bible passage, topic, verse, or biblical story. Choose the preaching framework that fits the message: • Expository — walk through Scripture verse by verse • Topical — weave a biblical theme across passages • Textual — draw out a single verse or short text • Narrative — preach a biblical story or character • Conversational — a Me-We-God-You-We message Build one Sunday sermon or a multi-week sermon series. Choose Standard or Scholarly depth, then get introductions, main points, illustrations, applications, study notes, reflection questions, and story ideas. BIBLE STUDY & COMMENTARY Read Scripture in the app, then go deeper without leaving your prep: • Bible commentary with insights, historical context, theological themes, and practical application • Word study on key terms in the passage • Ask — a Scripture companion for questions about the text • Classic public-domain commentary notes • Related verses and cross-references • Multiple Bible translations, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese SERMON REFINER Already have a draft? Upload a Word, PDF, or text file, or paste the sermon. Get help on structure, clarity, theology, and how the message lands — then keep, copy, or push it to Notes. NOTES, PREACH MODE & PREP HABITS • Sermon notes with Scripture, points, illustrations, and personal asides • Preach mode with a sermon-length timer • Weekly prep reminders so Sunday does not sneak up • Libraries for outlines, notes, commentaries, series, and refinements • English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean • iPhone and iPad WHO IT’S FOR Pastors, preachers, ministers, evangelists, youth leaders, Bible teachers, and anyone preparing a sermon, homily, devotion, or Sunday message. Sermon Assist helps you prepare. The pulpit is still yours. This app at first seemed like it would be a great addition to my preaching exploits. However, after getting to know the product, it lacks a lot of practical things that would be useful. For example, when it comes to the outline for the sermon, you can’t really tweak it a whole bunch to the way that you need to it to operate. It has a standard outline and that’s what you have to use! Secondly, the “24/7” support that they have, hardly ever answers. It’s very annoying. Lastly, I entered in on a trial basis of two weeks, but after three days, they charge me the full amount for the year. Now support won’t answer me, as I try to get a refund. There are better apps out there, don’t use this one

Thank you for your honest review. We truly value your feedback and appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few things to serve you better:Support & Sunday Delays: Our support is not 24/7—we are a small team supporting thousands of pastors worldwide. Because most of our team is actively serving in local ministry on Sundays, response times can be delayed on weekends. We sincerely apologize for the frustration this caused.Fully Customizable Outlines: Your sermon outline is actually 100% editable! You can fully tweak titles, assign specific scriptures, and even add sticky notes. Please check that you are updated to the latest app version, as this gives you full flexibility over your workspace.Trial & Extensions: When you reached out regarding your trial, we went ahead and extended your free access by an additional 14 days so you could continue testing the platform.Refunds: Because all billing is managed directly by Apple, developers don't have access to process refunds. You can request a refund directly through your iPhone settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions). We also have step-by-step instructions on our in-app Settings page to guide you through this process. We apologize for the confusion and difficulty you experienced. We are hard at work every day striving to improve Sermon Assist and serve pastors with excellence.Blessings on your ministry,The Sermon Assist Team
