HOW IT WORKS
1. Type the guess you just played into Word-l-lator.
2. Tap each tile to cycle it gray, yellow, or green until it matches the feedback the real puzzle gave you.
3. Tap Show Candidates. Word-l-lator filters the dictionary down to every word still possible and ranks them, best first.
4. Play the word it recommends, come back, and record the new feedback.
That's the whole loop. No accounts, no setup, no waiting.
FIVE PUZZLE FORMATS
Word-l-lator isn't just for single-board puzzles. Pick your format from the Games button and the whole app adapts:
• Classic — 1 board, 6 guesses
• Two-board — 2 boards, 7 guesses
• Four-board — 4 boards, 9 guesses
• Eight-board — 8 boards, 13 guesses
• Sixteen-board — 16 boards, 21 guesses
In multi-board modes every board shares the same guess, but each one hides a different word and gets its own feedback. Word-l-lator tracks all of them at once, keeps a separate list of possibilities for every board, and scores each suggestion by how much it helps across every board still in play. Swipe the board strip or tap a thumbnail to jump between boards. Solved boards get a checkmark and step out of the way.
SUGGESTIONS THAT ACTUALLY THINK AHEAD
Most solvers just list what's still possible. Word-l-lator ranks by how much information a guess is expected to reveal, so you eliminate the most words per turn instead of taking long-shot stabs.
It also tells you what kind of word you're looking at:
• Solutions can win a board outright.
• Scouts can't win by themselves, but they slice the remaining possibilities apart faster than any Solution can — often the difference between solving a sixteen-board puzzle and running out of guesses.
The ranking also downweights the regular plurals and past-tense forms that real answer lists tend to avoid.

• Known letters carry forward automatically into your next row, so you're not re-tapping the same greens over and over.
• Undo backs out the last row when you mistype a letter or tap a color wrong.
• Reset clears everything for a fresh puzzle in one tap.
• A warning appears if you enter a word the dictionary doesn't recognize, before you waste a guess on it.
• Browse candidates by common words, uncommon words, or the full dictionary.
• A built-in help screen walks through the steps and adapts to the mode you're playing.
