Trip History is on hold: smart's servers no longer return trip data on the #1 and #3 either. We'll bring it back the day it returns. Digital Key in the background should be more reliable. New on the #5: your range on a full battery. Bug fixes and improvements.

- Your Digital Key now connects in the background. Hello # watches for your car even when the app is closed, so the key is usually ready before you reach the door. - Everything about the key sits on one screen in Settings, including how reliable it has been. - Pause Auto Connect: your car holds one key at a time, so you can free yours for an hour, until tomorrow, or until you switch it back on. - Car details now cover Entertainment Mode, Overheat Protection and In-car Life Detection. Entertainment Mode also shows on the dashboard. - Hash says things once instead of following you around, and what you brush off stays gone. New jokes in there too. - The Digital Key on Apple Watch is far more reliable, and complications no longer go blank. - The Watch has its own settings screen now, so you can set how the key behaves on your wrist.

It gives you a quick read on what needs you and can handle things like locking up or starting a charge in a tap. It has a few jokes up its sleeve too. There's no AI behind Hash. Every word it says and every decision it makes was written by hand, with love. Also in this version: - The Apple Watch app loads faster and connects to your Digital Key more reliably. There's also a new tappable status icon to refresh whenever you want the latest. - Trip history is paused on smart #5 for now, as the data stopped coming through from smart's servers. - Fixed and polished a bunch of things behind the scenes.

Trip History - A whole new tab for your trip history, straight from smart's servers. Detailed routes, average speed, distance, time. On #5 it also includes energy and consumption data. - Share trips, organise them with custom labels, and exclude any trip from your analytics in one tap. - New Help and Contact screen with a full FAQ. - Stability and reliability improvements, plus polish throughout the app.
