Your free month, actually offered Listero has had a one-month free trial in both stores since May, but a bug meant it was never shown and never applied. That is fixed. If you have never subscribed before, your first month is free — and the paywall tells you so before you pay, not after. Signing in with Google or Apple now saves your email and name to your profile. The app always knew them; it just never stored them. Accounts already affected repair themselves the next time you sign in, and a name you chose yourself is never overwritten. Marking a pantry item as used can now put it straight on your shopping list. The switch is on for new items and you can turn it off per item. Your plan’s page now links to the EU right-of-withdrawal form.

Reminders now arrive at the time you set them. They were arriving at the wrong time — off by your time zone's difference from UTC, so three hours late in Romania in summer, and early rather than late west of Greenwich. A reminder set for Saturday night arrived Sunday morning. The item itself always showed the correct time, which is what made this so hard to spot. Reminders you have already set are corrected the next time you open the app; you do not need to re-save them. Also in this update: • Starter lists no longer count toward your three free lists. The lists Listero creates for you on first launch were being counted, so people reached the free-plan limit while making their first list of their own. • Adding an item is a real button now — labelled for what the list holds, and large enough to hit. It used to be a bare plus sign with nothing to say what it would add, and on an empty list the only add button sat out of sight behind the navigation bar. • The “no lists yet” screen takes up less room, so the button that creates your first list fits on screen on smaller phones. • Creating a list no longer interrupts you to ask for an account. The ask is a card that appears after you add an item of your own, and it goes away for good once you dismiss it. Travel checklists still need an account. • Listero asks for notification permission when you do something that needs it — set a reminder, share a list, add a friend — instead of on the first screen. If you declined earlier, setting a reminder now tells you notifications are off and offers to open Settings. • The app opens on the tab you were last using. • Registering works properly. The email and password fields no longer let autocorrect change what you typed, and they work with your password manager. Registering from a guest session no longer strands you on the form, and a password we cannot accept keeps you on the password step with the rules shown before you submit. • The verification code is fresh when you arrive, and an expired or incorrect code, too many attempts, and rate limits each say what actually happened. • After you verify your email we ask once whether people may find you by your email address — which is what lets someone invite you to a shared list. On older accounts you may see that setting correct itself from on to off; it was showing on while the server had you hidden.

Accessibility improvements: large text sizes now display correctly across the whole app. Dialog buttons and forms grow with your preferred text size instead of clipping, the account activation screen scrolls when the keyboard is open, and the travel list setup screen no longer hides the Continue button. The quantity selector also gets bigger, easier-to-tap circular buttons.

Fixed an issue that could leave new users stuck on the email activation screen. - After entering a valid verification code, you are now taken straight into the app without needing to restart. - Tapping "Verify" more than once no longer shows a false "code already used" error. - Your email address is now correctly saved to your account when you sign up.

Travel Lists Plan any trip without switching apps. Open the new Travel tab to start from one of 9 ready-to-use templates — beach holiday, ski trip, hiking day, business travel, and more. Each checklist organises items into categories like Clothes, Toiletries, Documents, and Gear. Add, rename, or remove categories to match how you actually pack. Reorder items with a drag, or swipe left to delete. Already have a great packing list? Use the copy flow to pull items or whole categories from any existing checklist into your new one. When a trip ends, archive the checklist. Archived trips stay available as starting points for future travel. Free accounts include one active travel checklist with up to 20 items. Listero Pro removes all limits. Smoother Loading List screens now show a shimmer animation while items load, instead of a blank screen when you first open a list.
