Every venue now shows the days it opens as well as its hours, so you can see at a glance what is on tonight and what is resting. The meeting rooms carry their hours too, and the price moves with the time you choose. Book Alcove, the CEO Room or the Library in whole hours, with the first two complimentary and the a la carte menu as usual. From 7PM the room is charged by the hour instead, and the screen tells you which part of it comes back against your bill before you confirm. The podcast studios say when a session runs past seven and needs arranging with the club. Tell us how many are coming and the room is laid for them.

Fixed a bug with events and highlights.

You can now download your membership card to your Apple Wallet.

A handful of refinements across the app. Your preferences stay where you leave them, the clubhouse keeps its count, and a note from the club now opens straight through to the whole message from your home screen.

Some small fixes for app performance on older models.

YOUR MEMBERSHIP, BY NAME Your card now names the membership you hold, from Individual to Corporate, Couples, Under 32 and Ambassadorial, beside your name and number. YOUR CIRCLES What is written in a circle stays among its members, and opening one shows everything that has been said in it rather than only what you wrote yourself. SOONER ON SCREEN The app opens on what it already has and brings in anything new behind it, so your circles, the feed and the clubhouse are there the moment you arrive, even on a weak signal. THE CLUBHOUSE Likes and replies keep their count as they land, and a long post keeps the button to share it in reach while you write.

YOUR MEMBERSHIP IN APPLE WALLET Add your card to Apple Wallet and it sits a swipe from your lock screen, ready at the door without opening the app. Your name, membership number and the date you joined, with the code the team scans you in with. AT THE DOOR The screen brightens by itself whenever your code is showing, so it reads first time on the scanner. Once reception has you in, the app shows you as in the club straight away. THE CLUBHOUSE Likes stay with you wherever you sign in, and every post now shows who liked it and who has replied. CONCIERGE Send a photo or a file, a PDF included, straight into your thread. SMALL THINGS Pull to refresh gives a gentle tap so you know it has taken. Your dietary requirements stay with your membership. Circles the club adds you to appear on their own. Notification settings sit under Preferences, with a switch each for club news, events, community, guests and concierge.

A larger update, and most of it is new ground rather than polish. MEMBER BENEFITS A new section for what your membership is worth: discount codes, partner rates, complimentary entry. Redeem in the app and the club has a record of it. GLOBAL CLUBS Your membership is recognised across the Sonato Alliance, a network of independent private clubs worldwide. Browse them by city and ask the concierge to arrange your visit. EVENTS Events can now run on a set of dates that follow no pattern, and each night can carry its own note, so a weekly fixture can tell you about this week's guest chef. Booking now opens the club's own page where that applies. NOTIFICATIONS The club can reach you when the app is closed, and tapping a notification opens what it is about. You decide what reaches your phone: club news, events, community, guests and concierge replies each have their own switch under Preferences. Anything you turn off is not sent at all, and is still waiting for you in the app. ALSO IN THIS RELEASE House rules, FAQs, membership terms and a privacy policy, all kept current by the club. Pull to refresh across the app. Faster, lighter images throughout. A note from the club on your home screen. FIXES Table and room bookings reached the calendar but were failing at the final step; that is resolved. A seat is now held only once payment clears, rather than when the payment page opens. Pull to refresh now shows you it is working: the spinner was being drawn behind the status bar on several screens. The third shortcut on the home screen reads the calendar rather than always opening the same room, so it shows what is genuinely on tonight.
