Mushaf Al-Waqar is a Quran memorization app built around one idea: memorization holds through guided repetition, not plain reading.
The Mushaf
• 604 pages in authentic Othmani script, matching the Madinah Mushaf page for page
• Word-level interaction — every word is an independent unit you can hide, reveal, and mark
• Full-width landscape mode, with corners showing surah, page, juz’, and last review without covering a line
Memorization mode
• Hide the whole page, then reveal it word by word or verse by verse
• Mark where you slipped, and review every slip later in one list with its context
• Per-page tracking: how many times you revised it, and when you last did
Similar verses — what sets this app apart
• A panel showing a verse's look-alikes side by side, with the differing word highlighted
• Drill cards that hide the differing word and ask you for it, then show every rival verse
• Choose your drill scope: what you revised recently, the last ten pages, the current surah, or the whole Mushaf
Review and progress
• A daily goal you set, with gauges for today's performance and the week's targets
• Juz' and hizb listings with your revision count for each

A fully Arabic right-to-left interface, in both light and dark modes.
Ratings & Reviews

• Snooze for the daily reminder: "in 15 minutes" and "in an hour", right on the notification
• The classic Mushaf edition as an option (Appearance → Mushaf edition): the page and line layout and script you were used to; works offline once downloaded, and your progress is shared between editions
• TV display over AirPlay or HDMI: the two facing pages like an open Mushaf, controlled from your phone, with the verse's meaning and rare-word glosses in the margin
• Majlis quiz on the TV: similar verses and "Where is this verse?", run from the host's phone
• Better voice follow: pause and the next word appears faintly as a hint; repeat a word and the cursor steps back so you can mark it; and it now works where your device lacks Arabic speech recognition, using an on-device model trained on recitation
• Invite friends to a competition group with a link you can share on WhatsApp — it opens the app directly
• Fixes: words that showed early in memorization mode in some verses, missing pause marks, and the duplicated Basmala in Al-Fatiha
• Lighter on memory in long sessions; the daily reminder no longer gets lost if the app is closed
