(1) When selecting Page Scale to Feet, the Length Measurement tool uses a decimal format (example 4.5'). The Feet-Inches format would be more convenient (example 4'-6"). (2) If you change the Page Scale to a value other than the default 50, the measurements of the Furniture you add from the Stencil change. These measurements should be the same regardless of the scale.

I like supporting smaller app developers and though some competitor’s apps are free, I wanted to give this one a try. (I paid $8 USD). The concept of the app is wonderful and it comes with enough stock assets to build a well detailed design. Though, the consistent crashes are a dealbreaker. The app is unusable and there is no option for crash reporting back to the developer via MacOS. I gave it a few hours or trying to prevent a crash, but the app always fails. This app is not ready to be sold yet and it’s certainly not deserving of the price tag of $8. I hope the developer is aware of similar reviews and makes the necessary updates to make the app useable.

I have used FPD to create remodeling plans showing a Garage conversion to a Master Bedroom and Bath. The previous version forced me to convert points to inches which was a mental nightmare getting the drawing to scale. I'm pleased to note that the app now accurately converts from feet to feet/inches rather than feet/points. Hooray!!After 6 weeks, our plans were accepted by the County all based on the drawings this non-professional homeowner submitted. Thank You Floor Plan Designer!

After trying many different floor plan apps I finall found this one, and am so glad I did! All the others were far too complex. All I wanted was a simple one to help me plan furniture placement in my new house. I highly recommend this one because it is easy to learn and does the job perfectly without me tearing my hair out!
