Usage statistics are now matched to SIMTA's App Store listing, so they can be read together with the ad reports. Nothing new is collected, and nothing on screen changes.

The countdown now runs on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. It comes up on its own when you start a timer and keeps time while SIMTA is closed, and pause, resume and stop sit right there — a running timer no longer needs the app opened to be handled. The small mark beside the digits drains clockwise from twelve o'clock and wears the color you are using. A band of light crosses the SIMTA PRO wordmark and the button that sells it, and the name is written PRO everywhere it appears. Horizon Lock moves more evenly, at the full rate of a 120 Hz screen. The page no longer slides away while the alarm is ringing.

SIMTA Pro. One purchase, once — no subscription. It opens the other nine colors and the home screen icon that matches, keeps the whole of Recent reachable, and takes the ads away. Settings has it at the top, and the same screen restores it on your other devices. Nine of the ten colors now come with SIMTA Pro. Red stays free, and the color you are already using stays yours. Recent shows four times without SIMTA Pro. Nothing is thrown away — the rest wait in the list behind a lock. Ads sit at the bottom of Settings and Recent, and one appears after a timer has finished. The timer itself stays clear, and nothing interrupts a timer that is running.

Setting a time no longer turns the page. A finger that slanted even slightly while spinning a wheel was being taken as a swipe to Settings or Recent, and the timer you were setting slid away.

Recent times The timer now remembers the lengths you have run. Swipe right from the timer, or tap the clock, and start any of them again with one tap. You can also add times without running them, swipe a row left to delete one, or clear the list. New here? The list starts with four pomodoro lengths - 25, 5, 15 and 50 minutes. Wheels that never end 59 now sits directly above 00, so the long way round is never necessary. Minutes go up to 99. Easier to read Text and icons pick black or white to suit the theme. Yellow, orange and green were washing out; they are clear now. Also Settings has moved to the left of the timer and Recent sits to the right. Both titles stay put while their lists scroll under them.

Rebuilt as a native app. It is smaller, opens faster, and the countdown keeps correct time after you leave and come back. New • Horizon Lock — tip the phone and the color stays level with the room. Switch it off in Settings. • Ten themes, up from seven. The home screen icon takes on the color you pick. • Show Countdown — hide the digits and leave only the color. • The controls fade away while the timer runs. Touch anywhere to bring them back. Fixed • A running timer now survives the app being closed. • The alarm is audible with the silent switch on. • The colon between minutes and seconds sits level with the digits.
