I purchased the premium to be a pro member to avoid ads but even after purchasing I am still getting ads. (I contacted the support but never got a response back.) I like the idea and purpose of this app (thus the 2 star rating) but it’s very outdated, limited on what you can do on the app, and over priced especially for VIP.Edit 8/4/24 - the ads eventually went away after I had 1-2 weeks left of the month I paid for. No refunds either for it. Never heard back from the “support team” (if there is even one). A lot of novels don’t work either and said to contact the admin. I wish they can fix this or if there is a reason why those novels don’t work? - please explain and take them out. The app is very outdated and disorganize for example the categories are random novels that don’t fit the categories at all. Wish they had a “new novels” feature too. I would love it if they can fix and upgrade the app.I feel like the person or the people who created this app has completely abandoned this app.
So many problems and only plays first 2 mins of each chapter

I love the books but there are so many problems and they don’t fix them. The premiums don’t have any difference besides the price and now the premiums don’t even work and you still get adds. The costumer service don’t get back to you and they don’t seem to do anything about the problems. Recently the normal voice doesn’t work and for a lot of the books it only plays parts of each chapter. It’s not even possible to listen to a book if you only get the first 2 minutes of each chapter!
Happy it’s back! Massive improvement!

I was so happy this was back in the App Store. I had lost it when I switched phones. The latest update is amazing! It’s working so much better. The new interface is great. There’s no download issues anymore. The only other feedback I have is that occasionally it will skip words as it plays. I process quickly so I have the playback speed at 2.0x at a minimum. I can infer the missing context but even if I slow it down it still happens. Otherwise, I’m extremely happy with this and the update. Thank you for bringing it back!
Fixes from your reports:
• Listening: no more repeated half-words on Bluetooth, no endless silence when a line fails to load, and the progress bar no longer loops. A short pause now follows each sentence.
• Translation: works again after an upstream service went down; chapters and titles that still show the original language are now translated.
• Downloads: bulk downloads no longer delete chapters you just saved.
• Library: updating a chapter list is faster and no longer creates duplicate books.
• Reading position: going back to an earlier chapter now sticks across restarts.
• Ads: a failed ad no longer locks you into an ad every chapter.
• Faster, more reliable app start.
