Today, ideaShell 2.0 is here. From day one, we set out to build more than a note-taking tool. In the past, however, notes were the easiest form of memory to understand—and to build. Limited by the AI capabilities available at the time, that was the only form we could give it. Today, advances in large language models finally allow us to bring to life what we envisioned from the very beginning: - All-new Agent capabilities: it not only captures your ideas, but also helps turn them into action - Global memory: it understands and remembers you, getting to know you better the more you use it It is no longer just a tool for recording things. It is an AI thought partner that is truly yours. Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way and shared your feedback. May every one of your ideas move one step closer to action—and may you always remain uniquely yourself in the age of AI. 2.0 is the true 1.0 we always envisioned. We’re only just getting started. 【New Agent Capabilities】 - Chat with Agent to create documents, presentations, web pages, and more - Create a to-do with a single sentence, so important tasks are never forgotten 【New Memory Capabilities】 - Agent can proactively remember important information and gets to know you better over time - View and manage all memories in one place, with full control over what it remembers 【A Major Upgrade to Ask AI】 - Upload files and ask questions directly about their content - Select a folder or note to chat with and quickly find the answers you need - Turn web search on or off whenever you like - Switch between AI models to handle different tasks with greater flexibility - Discover more ways to use ideaShell with the new Playbook - New content-selection and permission-confirmation prompts make every action clearer and more secure 【An Improved Recording Experience】 - See live captions while recording, so you can follow along as you speak - Merge multiple recordings for easier organization and review - Enjoy a smoother experience with an improved recording interface and controls 【The Web App Is Now Available】 - Rebuilt for desktop workflows, offering a more spacious and efficient creative experience 【More Features and Improvements】 - Import Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, and Markdown files and save them as notes - See today’s to-dos and events on the Home screen for an at-a-glance view of your day - Recording notes now include source labels, making their origins easier to identify - Improved speaker-related interfaces and interactions - Improved note-link sharing for easier sharing and viewing - Refined numerous details and fixed known issues for a smoother, more reliable experience
