Runde is a friendship app for close friends, long-distance best friends, couples, and family circles. One meaningful question every week. A weekly ritual for the people who matter.

UP TO 8 PEOPLE WHO ALREADY MATTER
A circle is 2 to 8 people, and that's the ceiling — small enough that nobody performs. Make a separate one for each part of your life: your university group scattered across cities, your two oldest friends, your long-distance best friend, your partner, your family.
A HALLWAY AND A HEARTBEAT
Every circle has an everyday hallway — an always-open room to talk in whenever. Text, photos, voice notes, video, polls, Stories, reactions. Search back through all of it.
Then every Monday, one thing lands that the whole circle answers together. It stays for the week, then closes, and a new one arrives. That's the heartbeat, and it's the whole ritual.
YOU ANSWER FIRST, BEFORE YOU READ ANYONE
You write your own answer before you can see what anybody else wrote. Nobody copies. Nobody performs. Everyone is honest. That one rule is most of why this works.
YOU CHOOSE WHAT CAN LAND. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT WILL.
Some weeks it's something to answer:
"What's a dream you have that feels selfish to say out loud?"
Some weeks it's something to show:
"Post the oldest photo on your phone."
And some weeks it's something to go and do:
"Go for a walk somewhere you don't usually walk and post one thing you saw."
Your circle decides which of those can arrive. Which one shows up on a Monday is never up to you.
A CIRCLE THAT GROWS UP
Circles start light. After a few months of actually showing up, the questions get more personal on their own. The app says so when it happens, and an admin can set it back. Nothing was earned. Time passed, and you kept talking.
PRIVACY YOU PICK, ONE CIRCLE AT A TIME
Not every circle needs the same thing, so you choose when you make one.

Either way: no ads, no trackers, no data sold, no contact list access. Offline-first, so it works without internet and syncs when you're back. Your data stays in the EU (Frankfurt).

Start up to 3 circles and join as many as you're invited to. Full messaging. A new question every week. 90 conversation starters in the picker, plus 70 more to show and to do. Your messages stay on your device indefinitely, 90 days of cloud history so a new device can catch up, and a full export whenever you want one.
