Profiles show a photo, what someone does, the city they are in and the interests that might bring you together. Browse and filter until you find someone you would actually like to sit down with.

Look through the venues and experiences available in your city - restaurants, bars, cafes and rooftops - and choose one when you send an invitation, so the plan is clear from the first message.
START A CONVERSATION
Once an invitation is accepted, chat opens. Agree on a time, sort out the details, and turn an introduction into an actual meeting.

A Spark is an invitation to meet. Members receive Sparks to use in the app, and sending an invitation uses one.

Photos: tap an empty slot to choose several photos at once. The grid matches the six-photo limit: your main photo and five more.
Deleting a photo is instant, and picking the same photo again doesn't add it twice.
Adding and changing your photos is more reliable, with a clear message if an upload doesn't go through.
"View my profile" is now a main button on your Profile, and shows your profile the way other members see it.
Edit profile has a new Languages row, so you can add or change the languages you speak. They show once on your profile.

On People, the "Ways to meet" tiles are bigger.
Chats now say when a chat expires, for example "Expires in 2 days".
Experiences cards show a venue's name once, with the area on its own line.
Clearer layouts at large text sizes on Profile, Experiences, Chats, Account settings and sign-up.
Sign-up is shorter: tell us what you enjoy doing, and add the rest later in your profile.
A member photo that isn't available shows a neutral "Photo coming soon".
Choosing New Zealand as your location now shows New Zealand.
A message that can't be sent now says "Not sent".
Chat notifications reach only the account signed in on this phone, with private lock-screen previews.
