I tried out a few different IPTV players, over the past couple of years, and WOW was I pleasantly surprised once I found Chillio. Clearly, built by an Apple guy with a significant focus on UX, Experience, and Performance. I was floored when I realized that I could do MultiPlay of live streams, easily switching between them, similar to my previous favorite subscription mass-TV streamer. And then… Downloads on iPhone and iPad?! Fantastic. Finally, a cohesive experience no matter what device you are on, Mac, iPhone, iPad, AppleTV. The app just works, seamlessly, never requiring me to login on each device (thanks to the backend system). So, if you are looking at different IPTV Players, stop right here. Also, shell out some $$$ for the amazing work this guy and his crew have done, and are still doing, on this app. It’s Best of Breed, and by a long shot.

I absolutely love this app. I was using Smarter Pro which is fine, but this is a much better experience. The interface is much more impressive and intuitive. It looks like a web based streaming sight like Netflix or Apple TV. I also love the fact that changes appear across all my devices. If I update or change my favorites list or add a movie or show, it automatically appears on my phone, iPad, laptop and AppleTV interfaces. The best part is the constant updates. I had more updates to this app in a month than Smarters had in a year. That shows me that they care about their product and customers. Well worth the $30. Just get it!

I’m a regular user of your Chillio IPTV app on Apple TV, and I really appreciate its clean interface and functionality, it’s easily one of the best looking IPTV apps I’ve tried.However, I’ve run into a persistent issue I hope you can help with, every time Chillio launches, it performs a full playlist refresh before loading regardless of whether I’ve chosen hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly refresh frequency. This initial fetch can take from 5-10 minutes or more with larger playlists. If I try to watch while it’s still loading, the video becomes laggy and unpleasant.Here are two suggestions that could help:•Introduce a setting like “Skip update on launch,” so users with already up to date playlists can skip this long fetch and dive straight into watching.•Offer “Manual Refresh” mode letting users control when Chillio updates the playlist and EPG manually.These changes would greatly improve the user experience, especially for people with extensive playlists or slower internet connections.If there’s already an existing workaround I haven’t found like cache settings or advanced configuration I’d be grateful if you could point me toward it.Thanks for your time and for creating such a great app. I’d love to help test any beta features or updates if that’s something you’re planning.

I appreciate when a developer leans in to the needs of the community the software serves. I would give this app 5 stars for that reason alone, but this rating is deserved on all accounts. The design and functionality was thoughtfully configured to make the UI easy to navigate, and resemble the experiences we’ve come to expect. All software in this category does the basics well, it just works. Few take the time to add functionality that feels innovative. In my opinion, this is quickly heading toward being the top app in this category, if it isn’t already. Great job.
