My Recipe Keeper: WhatsCook
Meal Planner & Shopping List
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
New: follow your dad, your mum or a friend by their @username and cook from their recipes. Plus a meal plan you can read as a calendar or drag around as a list.
WhatsCook is where the recipes you find, the week you plan, and the people you cook with finally live in one place.
SAVE RECIPES FROM ANYWHERE
Share a link from Instagram, TikTok or any cooking website and the AI pulls out the ingredients and the steps. Photograph a page from a cookbook, or just describe what you feel like and let it write the recipe for you.
PLAN THE WEEK YOUR WAY
A calendar week at a glance, or a list you drag meals around in. Switch with the toggle at the top right and the app remembers which one you prefer. Meals you have not scheduled yet wait at the top, ready to drop onto a day.
THE SHOPPING LIST WRITES ITSELF
Everything in your plan turns into one list, sorted for the shop. Move a meal and the list moves with it. Tick things off as you go.
ONE KITCHEN, EVERYONE IN IT
Invite the people you live with. You all see and edit the same recipes, the same meal plan and the same shopping list, on every device.
FOLLOW THE COOKS YOU KNOW
Your dad, your mum, a friend. Follow them by their @username and their recipes show up in your Following feed. Nothing is public: they approve you first, and followers only ever read your recipes, never change them.
COPY A RECIPE, KEEP THE LINK
Copy a friend's recipe into your own collection. If they change the original later, you get a notification, and your copy catches up in one tap while your own notes stay yours.
PHONE, TABLET AND BROWSER
Same account, same recipes, everywhere. Nothing to install if you would rather plan from a laptop.

WhatsCook 2.0
FOLLOW THE COOKS YOU KNOW
Follow your dad, your mum or a friend by their @username. Their recipes turn up in the new Following feed, sorted by what was just added, just cooked, or loved most. Nothing is public: they approve your request first, and followers can only read your recipes, never change them.
COPIES THAT KEEP UP
Copy a friend's recipe into your own collection and it stays linked to theirs. When they change the original you get a notification, and your copy catches up in one tap while your own notes stay yours.
PLAN AS A CALENDAR OR AS A LIST
Switch the plan between a calendar week and a drag-and-drop list with the toggle at the top right. The app remembers which one you prefer, and meals you have not scheduled yet wait at the top.
WHATSCOOK IN YOUR BROWSER
Sign in at web.whatscook.app and everything syncs with the app on your phone.
Plus a new interactive tutorial, a reworked profile and settings, and a long list of fixes.
