Game is great so far but the zoom really needs work and is limiting my enjoyment of the game. The initial perspective is too far out and makes it difficult to select the right square. But the zoom only has one setting putting you way too close and you have to move the camera around to see other troop positions, etc. What needs to be done is a zoom like many, many other mobile games use, where you can change it (usually via pinching) to get as close or as far as you want to be.Please update this as it will really make this much more enjoyable.

It’s not as they say! As an avid advance wars/turn based tactics enjoyer, war groove deserves its place up there with some of the best, especially with its cute pixel art and diverse commander selection (and fun story!); it’s unfortunate that the iOS version has been sullied with poor reviews due to a poor launch state involving crashes, but it seems those issues have been fixed, and I hope more people can take the leap of faith like I did and try this wonderful gem out. It’d be great to be able customize the app icon with different characters but this is merely a small peeve of mine ^-^, TLDR; Crashes are fixed, I highly recommend it, especially if you enjoy advance wars or tactics turn based games in general.

What a great addition to the iOS turn based games being not only a tribute but a fun learning curve, so many options and so many ways of obtaining victory. Games like this are good for the phone when you have some down time and want to play campaign or create your own and customize your ability to enjoy it. It’s a bit challenging but that’s the point, no excess of grinding just learning how the units can come together. Very well done I can’t wait to keep playing and seeing what updates may come!

I got to play a few times, and now every time I open it, it immediately crashes. No exceptions. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times. Furthermore, the UI for mobile isn’t great, moving around the screen is bad, and the zoom mechanic is terrible. The game itself is great, but you pushed this version without fixing the bugs in the actual game, or bringing necessary improvements to matchmaking. Which is a real shame, because this is one of my favorite games. Your need to push products that are unfinished, and have serious issues, like the game crashing, like the many bugs that make a lot of WG2 maps unplayable, that there’s no way to kick players in matchmaking - literally if a player joins your game and just never readies up - it completely kills that game, that there’s no incentive or reward or system to incentivize players who ready up in matches and play through - and punish players who quit is killing the amazing potential of this game. These really could sell well but you’re killing them before release. Fix some of these things and i’ll change my review.
