This is a solid, and simple product to use. Blessings.

Shocked there’s immediately a grammatical error upon opening the app for the first time. It’s prompting me to click on the wide blue background link button that says in white font: “Get Start”. The window is basic with only that prompt link along the bottom of the page, centered above it at the top is a large white “shield” icon with a blue “lock” icon inside. The word “Authenticator” in bold white font underneath the shield. In smaller plain font on the next line is “Two Factor Authentication”…… I expect more. This error creates doubt of the validity of the service and would never have happened *on the title page of all places* of a GOOGLE product prior to the hold AI has on people and systems. Not cool. “Get Start” yes, that’s what it says!

Well. So every time you open the app there’s a misleading screen that gives you pro version pricing and it feels a little like having your accounts held hostage until you find the subtle skip button. Today I couldn’t find the skip button. I think they removed it? Maybe I’m blind, who knows. Anyways I switched to “Proton Authenticator” and it works. Fine. No hostage situations. Would recommend.A donation button would have been fine. I’d throw you guy 5 bucks for saving me time - but I’m not paying 70$ for a product that in no way differentiates itself from the other authenticator apps.Lastly I feel like “Auth for Google Authenticator” is a misleading name. They are in no way associated with Google best I can tell. Doesn’t inspire trust in a security app. Once again - would recommend a switch to Proton Authenticator.

I had my codes to log into website and now it wont let me go pass the nag screen to buy the package it was limited to 5 codes free and now i cant log into sites once i let the app update
