"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." — 1 Thessalonians 5:11 What's new: Now you can pray for the people you love even if they're not on PrayForMe yet. Pray for them, then share it by text along with your code. When they add you, they'll get every prayer you send their way.

"Greet the friends there, each by name." — 3 John 1:14 What's new: You can now customize your own character and the characters for the friends and family you pray for, so the people in your app look a little more like the people in your life. We also cleaned up your mailbox. It now lists the people who've written prayers for you and the friends you've made, so it's easier to find your way back to a conversation.

"Freely you have received; freely give." — Matthew 10:8 What's new: When you tap Start praying, it now opens with a prayer for you. We'll show you a verse and a prayer written for what you're going through, then walk you into praying for a few others who need it too. You can tell us what you'd like prayer for, so the next day it meets you right there. And if it helps, you can share it so the community prays alongside you.

"A friend loves at all times." — Proverbs 17:17 What's new: When you pray for someone, you can now add a personal note in your own words, so they hear from you and not just the prayer.

"Let all things be done decently and in order." — 1 Corinthians 14:40 What's new: Some bug fixes and visual polish this time to make the app cleaner and smoother to use. Next up, we'll be updating the Home tab to make the Garden experience the focus.

"Always keep on praying for all the Lord's people." — Ephesians 6:18 What's new: Praying for someone is now just a tap away. Hit "Pray for someone" and you'll see a few people who need prayer that day. We'll give you a prayer to start from, edit it to make it your own, then hold to pray and send it their way. Next we'll be including your loved ones (friends & family) into this experience :)

"Pray continually." — 1 Thessalonians 5:17 What's new: We redesigned the Home screen around the idea the whole app is built on: every day someone prays for you, every day you pray for someone. Up top, your days of prayer and the people you're praying for. Below that, today's prayer for you and the people it's your turn to pray for.

"Whoever is faithful in very little is also faithful in much." — Luke 16:10 Just some minor bug fixes this time to keep things running smoothly. More coming soon!

"I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy." — Philippians 1:3-4 What's new: Garden, a place to pray for the people you love. Add your family and friends, tell us what you want to pray about for each of them, and pray for them by name. We'll help you turn it into a prayer you can read aloud, and if you'd like, we'll let the person know you prayed for them today.

"Like cold water to a weary soul is good news from a distant land." — Proverbs 25:25 We rebuilt how you see the prayers people send you. When someone prays for you, it now arrives as a sealed envelope on your Home screen, waiting for you to open. Open it, read the whole prayer, and send a thank-you or an Amen right back to the person who prayed for you.

"In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly." — Psalm 5:3 What's new: Daily Prayers! Every morning at 8am we'll send you a prayer to bless your day. You can change the time, and tell us what you'd like us to pray over for you each day, so it meets you right where you are.

"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord." — Colossians 3:23 What's new: We spent this release fixing bugs and cleaning up the parts of the app you never see, so everything runs a little smoother and faster. More coming soon.

Psalm 139:1 — "You have searched me, Lord, and you know me." What's new: We rebuilt onboarding so you know exactly what PrayForMe is for from the first screen. Tell us what you're going through and we'll flood you with prayers, and along the way you'll see everything else that's here for you, a place to pray, people to walk with, and someone to talk to when it's heavy.

"The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." — James 5:16 We rebuilt the Home screen so it's easier to see the prayers people have lifted up for you. Everything you've received is right there when you open the app, so you can come back to it whenever you need the reminder that you're not being carried alone.

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor." — Ecclesiastes 4:9 Three things in this release: 1. A simpler home. We reorganized the whole app around what you actually come here to do. Three tabs now: Home, Circle, and Care. The new Home tab shows you everything available in one place, so it's clear where to go when you need to pray, read, or talk to someone. 2. Your circle, every day. Your small group now has a daily view, prayer requests to lift up for each other and Scripture to read together, so you grow in your faith alongside people who know you. 3. A smarter Companion. We've upgraded Companion so it understands more about what you're carrying and can actually help you navigate the things you're walking through, not just respond in the moment.

"Now set your mind and heart to seek the Lord your God." — 1 Chronicles 22:19 Two new things in this release: 1. Meet Companion. An AI companion that's here whenever you want to talk. Bring it whatever's on your heart, the prayers you're carrying, the things you're working through, and it'll sit with you in the moment. 2. A look at what's coming. We're opening a waitlist for Christian counselors, real people who share your faith and can walk with you through the heavier seasons. It's not live yet, so hop on the waitlist and we'll let you know the moment it opens.

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom." - Colossians 3:16 This one is all about reading together. The daily devotional now lands in your circle as something you share, not just something you scroll past on your own. 1. Heart and favorite the verses that catch you. When a line stops you mid-read, tap to heart it or save it as a favorite. The rest of your circle can see which verses moved you, so the people praying alongside you get a small window into what God is stirring up that week. 2. Ask, your Bible study companion. Sit with a verse a little longer. Ask brings a study companion right into the reading so you can go deeper on context, meaning, and how the passage points to Jesus, all without leaving the page. This update is about making that easier to do together. Here's what's new: 1. Circles. We match you with a small group your age, reading and praying together. Your circle becomes a daily rhythm as you'll see what they're reading, what they're lifting up, and how the Lord is moving in their lives. 2. Capture today's verse. Snap a 2-second video, type out the verse you read, and share it with your circle. There's something powerful about seeing what God put on someone else's heart that morning, and a quick video makes it feel like they're right there with you. 3. A new home for the app. We rebuilt the navigation so your circle, the wider community, and your own space each have a place to live. Circle tab is where your small group lives. Discover tab is where you can browse the community's prayers and praise notes to read what God is doing across the app and intercede. Profile tab keeps your own verses and prayers in one spot. We're working on an AI companion to help you go deeper into the Word where you can ask questions about what you just read, draw connections across Scripture, and sit with what the Lord is saying. So much of what's in this update came directly from you telling us what was getting in the way of prayer. Here's what's new: 1. A faster way to log prayers. No more swiping through cards or squeezing prayers into a tiny text field. Tap into the journal and you get a full screen to pour out what's on your heart — write as much or as little as you want. (Shoutout to everyone who told us they were drafting prayers in their Notes app first. We heard you.) 2. Your prayers, easier to find. The home screen now shows your actual prayers — not just folders. We renamed it "My Prayers" and surfaced everything you've logged, organized by folder, with filters for in-progress, answered, and archived. Finding the prayer you logged last week should take one tap, not five. More coming soon. We're working on richer Community experience. Keep praying. We're building this for you.

In this version, we've fixed bugs & introduced a Community tab to house praise notes, prayers from community & prayer buddies. One ask from us — we'd love to receive prayers from you too.
