Hi, I’m totally blind, I guess that goes without saying. This app is unbelievable. I’ve been an iPhone user for the last 12 years. This is the first time I’ve even ever considered, buying a lifetime license for the app. I just did. I know I won’t regret it. Again this app does everything. It is handy, all you do is double tap, and it tells you what you’re looking at. I am very, very happy.
Problematic issues with app

A few issues with this app. I use an iPhone 14 Pro and have iOS 17. That said, when I started the app for the first time it gave me options on which I had to click next and then get started. Every time I reopen the app it does the same thing as if I was opening it for the first time.Secondly, when I tap and hold and ask a question I get no response.On the plus side, if I double tap, it gives a very good description of what it sees in the image. However, it did not tell me where anything was in relation to the other items that it saw this would be a well needed feature. Obviously this app needs some work, and possibly should not be on the App Store until it’s refined and repaired

If you’re seeing it every time you open the app, that’s definitely not expected behavior. We’ll investigate this further to ensure it’s resolved quickly.As for asking questions, Speakaboo should respond when you press and hold. If restarting the app doesn’t help, make sure you’re pressing and holding until you hear a tone and feel the haptic feedback, which means the app is listening. If you’re using Bluetooth devices, there may be a short delay, so try waiting a moment before speaking. Please also ensure you’re releasing the button after completing your question.We’re glad to hear you find the image descriptions useful! We’ve recently made adjustments to improve the app’s descriptions by better relating the location of objects in reference to one another. Something has happened with the last update

I bought the lifetime subscription, but now, when I launch the app, it gets stuck on the "setting up" screen and freezes for a few minutes before taking me back to my home page. I can't use the app that I paid for, but I used it while it was free and really liked it. Hopefully, this will be resolved soon.
