Seventy-eight images, each holding a piece of a story told for centuries because it keeps being true. The cards do not know your future. They know how to ask.
What if your own deck was welcome here?
Rooted has no interest in replacing the deck on your shelf. It wants to catch what happens when you use it. Photograph your spread and Rooted sets the cards into position. Or say them out loud, in order, and watch them land.
If you would rather draw here, the picker was built to earn that. Real randomization, weighted for where a card sits in a shuffled deck, with reversals that occur as reversals do. A deck that behaves like a deck.
Two ways to sit with a reading
Read. Rooted lays out your cards and shows how they relate, where the story turns, what the arc is saying. Prefer to interpret it yourself? Turn the interpretation off and write in your own voice.
Learn. Rooted walks beside you instead of ahead. Interactive questions move you through each card, so the meaning forms in you rather than being handed to you. Over time, you stop needing the guide.
One is a mirror held up. One is learning to hold the mirror yourself.
Every reading opens into journaling. Write freely, or follow prompts shaped around your question and your cards. This is where a reading stops being something you looked at and becomes something you worked with.

Tarot was never meant to be solitary. Open a reading to someone and they draw their own cards on their own phone. They watch Rooted weave those cards into a narrative, the part that is hard to describe and immediate to feel.
The reading stays with both of you. Yours is filed in your Shared folder, marked with who was there. Theirs sits in their own list, marked as shared, waiting.
Or open it to the whole room. Cast to your TV and the room watches the story assemble, card by card, while people participate on the phones already in their hands.
When they are ready to work with it, they subscribe, and that reading becomes the first entry in a practice of their own.
What if it listened only to you?
Something has to listen for reflection to work. Rooted reads your words so it can ask a better question. That is the whole of it.
Your questions, your readings, and your journal stay encrypted and tied to your account and your devices. Nothing is sold. Nothing is used to build a picture of you.
