I've been 3D printing for a while now, and managing filament spools has always been a bit of a nightmare. Keeping track of colors, materials, leftover amounts, and which spool I used for which print was a hassle—until I found Spoolstock.This app has completely changed the way I organize my filament inventory. I’ve immediately started using their label printing feature to tag my spools properly. One of my favorite features is how seamlessly I can use my iPhone to scan a spool when it’s depleted, making it easy to update my inventory on the fly.The ability to scan QR codes and instantly pull up spool details has made my workflow so much smoother. I used to manually weigh spools to estimate remaining filament, but Spoolstock's built-in database with updated weights takes care of that for me. Now, I can confidently start a print without worrying if I have enough material left.The low filament alerts are a game-changer—if I’m running low on a specific color, the app not only notifies me but also provides a direct link to an online store to purchase refills. This has saved me from last-minute supply shortages multiple times!The cloud syncing feature is another huge plus. Whether I’m on my computer or my phone, my inventory is always up to date. Needs better empty spool management

I’ve been using this app for at least a couple of years now. And I can’t live without it. But here recently with an update things were changed with regard to empty spool weight and management. Normally when I got a new spool and I didn’t know the spool weight I would weigh the spool, and anything over 1kg I put that down as the empty spool weight. And that worked great for me. What I didn’t know is every time I did that the weight was put into the empty spool list. Now I can’t input a spool weight directly. I have to select from the empty spool weight and I have a very long list. I currently see no way of deleting unwanted spool weights so my list is quite cluttered now. And the only way to add an individual spool weight to a spool is to add a new empty spool weight through the empty spool list. Personally what I would like to see is a way to input a spool weight with the option to save it to the list or keep it just for that one spool. And have a way to manage the empty spool list in such a way that we can delete empty spool values or edit them.
Was a fantastic app when it first came out now it’s totally unusable.

I enjoyed using this app for the first few months and found it to be an invaluable tool. I couldn’t say enough good things about it. But they’ve been more focused on adding features than making sure the app was stable. It’s totally unusable in its current state (2.5.5). You can open the app and complete one function then you have to close the app and restart it. If you attempt to scroll forget about it, not gonna happen. It freezes and locks up more than it works. Extremely disappointed. Wish they had left it alone. It was fine the way it was. Don’t waste your time putting 100+ rolls of filament into an app, then rely on it to keep track of what you have, it makes it tough to move to a new app. I would suggest you move on at this point until these bugs are worked out.

Hello everyone,If your looking for a aesthetically pleasing app to organize and store your filaments this is the app.I used the original version as well and it work well but this version they released is a great stride from the original. It works well and has all the info you need stored in it and to easily find it you can print labels for the filament and it takes you right to it in the app. Makes it easy to keep track of the product left on the spools as you can add the prints into the app and it will track it all for you. The best part is they are adding and updating the app daily to make it even better.
