Micah's Backpack is a nonprofit that provides nutritious food to students who are experiencing food insecurity. Currently, 300 children in schools receive a gift of healthy food during the academic year and approximately 140 during the summer school break. By feeding this vulnerable population we demonstrate that their community cares about them.
The Micah's BP app is the best way to partner with us to fight hunger! This app has all the tools and information necessary to stay connected. Some of our features include:
- Push notifications: Receive instant updates on events, volunteer opportunities, food drives and more
- Map: Tracks places that are in need of food and displays them for you to interact with
- Contact: Get in touch with our staff for any questions or needs
- Donate: Conveniently support the organization through just a tap
