Spirit Box: Transcend ITC is a ghost hunting toolkit for iPhone: an ITC spirit box, an EMF-style reader, EVP capture, a session journal and an SLS-style camera view, in one app. It runs on your phone. No extra hardware, no account, no sign-up. HOW IT WORKS, HONESTLY Every word, letter and number this app produces comes from randomisation algorithms running on your device. The app says so on screen: Settings has an Algorithm Transparency page that names the method behind each mode. It is a tool for investigations and for entertainment, not a measuring instrument, and it does not claim to detect anything supernatural. WHAT IS INSIDE • Spirit Box (ITC): scans and forms letters, words or numbers in real time • Ghost Box: nine sound banks, effects and recording • EVP capture: record a session and play it back • Camera ITC and LiDAR view: SLS-style figure tracking on supported iPhones • Energy ITC: on-device energy readings turned into session output • Ouija session: the same generator as Letters mode, in a board layout • Investigation journal: locations, dates, captured words and your own notes • Evidence reports and guided protocols: turn a session into a structured record • Lunar calendar, achievements and streaks • Primitive mode (raw letter by letter) and Accurate mode (word formation) • Available in 39 languages WHAT IS FREE AND WHAT IS NOT The spirit box, the journal and the core session modes are free, with ads. PRO removes the ads and unlocks the rest. FREQUENTLY ASKED Is it free? There is a free tier with ads. PRO is a paid upgrade. Is PRO a subscription? There are auto-renewing subscriptions and also a one-off Lifetime purchase that never renews. The price, the period and the renewal terms are shown on the purchase screen before you buy anything. How do I cancel? Settings has a Manage Subscription button that opens Apple's own sheet without leaving the app, and the date of your next charge is shown right above it. Does it need internet? No. The sessions run on the device. Do I need an account? No. There is no login and no sign-up. Is it real? The output is generated by randomisation algorithms on your iPhone, and the app tells you which one per mode. What you make of a session is yours to decide. We do not claim it contacts anything. I use this app on multiple settings and didn’t get anything until I put it on the Energy ITC and I had to close the app quickly because of some of the stuff that was coming through, and it made me freaked out. So is this app real? I don’t know. But if it is, wow!

Thanks for writing it up. Honest answer: it's an entertainment app. The words are assembled from real microphone noise by an algorithm, so some of them will land uncomfortably close to what you're thinking about — that's how the human ear works with random sound, and it's the whole appeal. Nothing in it is evidence of anything.

Thanks for the review. To be straight about it: this is an entertainment app. It builds words out of real noise picked up by the microphone, so what you get is random by design — worth enjoying, not worth taking as evidence of anything.

Thanks for the review. To be straight about it: this is an entertainment app. It builds words out of real noise picked up by the microphone, so what you get is random by design — worth enjoying, not worth taking as evidence of anything.

You can now see what you are paying and when. Settings shows the date and the amount of your next charge, right above a Manage Subscription button that opens Apple's own sheet without leaving the app. Before, the only button a subscriber could find threw you out to Safari, and the good one was buried among the legal links. Also in this update: • The purchase screen lost the period next to the price, and its buy button stayed in English. Fixed. • The PRO badge was mistranslated in several languages. • Six screens that could not be opened at all now open. • Ads no longer appear behind a sheet that was always in front of them. • Broken placeholders in the translated texts are gone. • The exported PDF pointed at a dead domain.
