It is a great game. Sometimes it may seem monotonous. But I wanted to leave a positive review. I deleted this game, and downloaded it today. This is September 29. And much to my surprise all of my coins and various tools were still intact! And to welcome me back, they gave me many more. I kept seeing this app being advertised and the pictures in the ads really don’t look like the ones in the game. So, I was curious to see if it was the same game, and it was. One can spend money if you choose to, however, it is not mandatory. The only thing that I don’t like is there is a reward system that , at times, requires you to play various side games and tournaments. I choose not to do those. And consequently, that eliminates me from getting all of the rewards. But other than that, it’s a cool straightforward game with no hidden agendas. And I would recommend it if you are looking for a mindless game without the pressure of a timer. One of the nice features of this game is that the eyeglasses allow you to see through the shapes so, you can see what colored screws are lurking with in or under. Lastly, the game does not bombard you with loads of ads! It doesn’t interrupt your play with an ad. There may be one ad in between games and perhaps if you are buying a tool or something like that. But the ads are really, really at a minimum and that’s a good thing. They do keep the game free.

While the game isn’t completely ad free as advertised this game does have a pretty long honeymoon phase of not showing you ads in between levels, I played several hours before it started occasionally showing me an ad for a different screw game in between its own levels which was just weird. But the game can actually be mostly played for free and is somewhat generous with coins, tools to help with puzzles, and ways to buy extra slots per puzzle without watching ads which is MILES better than every other screw sort game I have tried so far where they bombard you with ads or ask for you to buy in game currency for the extra boxes almost immediately in puzzle one or you cannot solve the puzzle. That being said, I’m only a day in so we’ll see if this is still the honeymoon phase and there’s a drop off later where coins become too scarce and ads or real money become demanded more frequently like other games did…. Hopefully not. There are lots of little pings on the home screen showing off purchase packs but those aren’t too intrusive so they’re fine. The one that says remove ads has me worried though. Does that mean it’s going to get worse? We shall see.

This used to be a really fun game to play and I got pretty good at it and most the time I only have to use two toolboxes to pass. With that said the developer has now updated the game to where it hides the colors that you need at the very end of the puzzle which forces you to spend your coin or watch ads. The game now also will give you a toolbox of the same color. You just previously cleared two or three times in a row leaving you stuck so then you watch an ad or you use your coin and then you clear a couple toolboxes and then it happens all over again, so by the time you get to the purchase of the fourth toolbox, you get stuck again and have to use your boosts. There was one level. I did all four toolboxes up on the board all different colors, and the only color that was on the outside of the globe was green and the four colors I needed were at the very center. This happens level after level after level and it is frustrating that you did this to the game because this game was fun funny and the graphics awesome I’ll still play it just not as much as I used to

The game itself is amazing. It’s colorful, the sounds are great and the game is addictive. It requires some strategy and lots of luck. The problem isn’t even the constant offer to let you buy your way through the game or that the game is designed to get to the point where you might need extra help on each level and it’s easier to purchase than to earn the coins. The problem is, once they have you hooked, the ads start coming between each play and you just can’t get out of them. If you click ANYWHERE, you find yourself leaving the game and on some website or trapped in another game. Theres only one button and it says “Get me”. If you try to click on the small circle at the bottom, you still clicked “get me. It gave me a button that said “not interested”on one of them, so I tried that with the Bradford ad. Not only did the “not interested” button take me to the site, every single ad, after that, was for Bradford. I had to delete the game. I was having to close the game and re-open it…the ads want you to buy and they don’t take no for an answer. It got old really fast. The game is great, the in purchase is pretty typical and annoying, but the ads are a deal breaker. Just offer an upgrade price for no ads…what a shame to ruin the game with excessive, ridiculous ads.
