Tales of Partia, is a game based on the world of Partia, where I wanted to mix its SRPG system with more of Choose Your Own Adventure-like, smaller, more episodic adventures of new and old heroes and heroines. This is its first (and hopefully not the last) offering, and I have combined the first two episodes, that is, I originally intended each episode to be its own stand alone game, but then thought the continuation would make a better arc for the difficulty of the game based on how players manage their play.
It has been slightly over 5 years since I was able to complete the Partia trilogy. It was an all consuming effort that took more than ten years, and frankly, caused PTSD (a failed marriage and financial troubles may contribute to that lol) about starting a solo game project. But kind people and their encouragements about how they enjoyed Partia 3 gave me some courage and motivation, and I started working on Tales of Partia about four years ago, a lot of times failing to make much progress although I find the story and characters, which are roughly based on a TRPG game that Mike Schultz ran and I, along with Mark and Eric participated, quite suitable for a decent video game experience.Anyways, so I guess sometimes you get to your destination not by running, but walks and crawls, as long as you don't give up.
So here is a game, that is aptly finished for my 45th birthday, to some of you, my friends, who may enjoy.

I don’t want to give anything away but after I finished the temple, the game shutdown on me. When I restarted and clicked resume, it started me at the beginning of the game.

I stumbled upon this game by looking for SRPG games and the app recommended this game and others. I read the description and I wanted to show my support as well, but the game itself is great. I like the old school style, it’s what I grew up on. One thing I do suggest is a small tutorial to know where to click for actions or how to play things like that. Simply cuz, it took me a minute to figure it out but one I got that out of the way I enjoyed it. Also the difficulty in the very first battle was too much I’d suggest making the protagonists a little OP for it to get by the rest for noobies like us. Other than that, love the game.

Oh I'm so glad you've enjoyed the game! I agree with you and usually I make first stage easy instead of making a tutorial, but since there is no perma-death in this one, I tried to make things a bit harder. Above all, thank you very much for your kindness!
Fun game but way too short

I love fire emblem which unfortunately isn’t available mobile (except the gacha version, which I hate). This game is very much reminiscent of the genre, but unfortunately it’s way too short, it took me a day to finish, otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Ahh thanks a lot TT! I actually started working on this game not to make another SRPG but the story called for it and I had a game engine for it lol. Let's see what would happen to the next game I'd be working on!

I’ve played the first 3 Partia games and really enjoyed them. Very happy to not have to worry about perma-death in this one. A walkthrough or control guide would be nice, but overall outstanding consistent games.

Ah thank you very much! I figured it wasn't feasible to have permanent-death and item use limit, unless there are enough characters and stage/intermission. I hope the game still offers some challenges to the experienced players such as you!
