Your home screen got an upgrade. Pull down to refresh, tap to see just today's missions, and watch a new task sparkle when your grown-up adds it. Pick the reward you're saving up for and keep it in sight on your home screen. Activities can turn sideways with your phone or iPad. A task can take up to 10 photos, and the camera opens facing the right way for each one. Fixes: the back button always brings you home, the camera turns off when another screen opens on top, and screen time adds up the right way when you buy time and your grown-up gives you time too.

Count Me is here. Turn on the camera, do your jumping jacks, sit-ups, or any counted activity, and Sprout counts along and cheers you on. If you need to step away, Sprout keeps checking your attempt for you. New activities to try: pop sound bubbles and hear every sound, trace letters and shapes, and build words one tile at a time. Read-out-loud activities can now hear you right on your device. Photo proof is friendlier. Retake a photo if the first one is not quite right, and see exactly what Sprout is checking while you wait. When your grown-ups are reviewing something you did, Sprout tells you it is with them. If a habit can't run on this device, the locked screen tells you why. Fixes: sounds no longer pile up when you tap fast, finished tasks stay finished, and the app opens faster.

- Activities can use the camera now. Point it at a book, a barcode, or a code and it comes right into what you are doing. - Some activities show you a picture of what finished looks like, so you know what you are aiming for. - Show your work with a photo. You see it right away and keep going while a grown-up looks it over. If a photo does not send, it waits and tries again instead of losing your work. - More ways to make your avatar look like you, with new hair and body options. - Activities stay put when the camera opens, and the avatar screen fits better on a tablet.

- Boards and activities can read themselves out loud. Tap to hear, tap again to stop. - Activities show a progress bar at the top, so you can see how far you have to go. - Back inside an activity goes back one step instead of dropping you home, and the back button no longer covers the progress bar. - Taking a photo for a task is steadier. If a photo does not go through, you can try again instead of getting stuck. - Closing the camera takes you back. It no longer counts as quitting the task. - Self-check tasks show their instructions. - Screen time you earn arrives on time, and unlocks end when they are supposed to. - If Sprout's reply gets lost on a shaky connection, the app goes and finds it instead of showing an error. - The Family Heart has a new look.

- Screen time that keeps up. Changes and unlocks from your grown-ups reach your device right away, and the screen time card only appears when there is time to earn. - Sprout's voice got a big upgrade. Conversations sound smoother and more natural. - Notifications take you straight to the right place. - Chat messages always show up in the right order, even on a spotty connection. - Bigger, easier-to-tap buttons across the whole app. - Lots of small fixes to make everything faster and smoother.

Faster startup, with Sprout ready the moment the app opens. Screen time is more dependable, and setup now lets you choose between managing your child or their individual devices. Claiming rewards feels better, with a clear success celebration. The parent area is more secure, with a hardened passcode. Layout polish throughout, especially on iPad.
