Kuwait Now tells you which places are open right now, not which places exist. Every venue shows its live opening state, so you find out about the closed kitchen before you drive there, not after.

Built for Kuwait's weather
The app knows there are two seasons here. In August it stops recommending you sit outside at two in the afternoon, and tells you which places are better after sunset. In winter it brings the parks and the corniche back.
Ratings you can trust
A place rated 4.9 by seven people is not better than one rated 4.9 by a thousand. Scores are weighted by how many people actually voted, so a handful of reviews can't outrank a genuine favourite.
English and Arabic, properly
Not a translation layer. The whole app mirrors for Arabic, with Kuwaiti Arabic throughout — switch language any time in Settings.

A big one.
Far more places. The catalogue has grown from a handful of venues to over a hundred across Kuwait — cafés, restaurants, museums, malls, parks and landmarks, all with photos, ratings and live opening hours.
Browse by category. Cafés, Restaurants, Museums, Shopping, Attractions, Outdoors and Nature each have their own screen now, instead of being buried in a filter menu.
Moods are places to go. "Open right now" and "Outdoors" open their own screens rather than filtering the one you're on.
The map got better. Results now sit on a card rail over the map, so the map stays a map. Swipe the cards and the map follows.
Kuwait's seasons. The app no longer suggests an outdoor park at midday in August, and tells you when somewhere is better after sunset.
Fairer ratings, weighted by how many people reviewed a place.
A new look drawn from Al Sadu weaving, and a proper dark mode.
Faster lists, fewer taps to filter, better Arabic layout, and a fix for a crash when dragging the map.
