This app is based on the free and open-source app maintained at https://github.com/element-hq/element-x-ios but contains additional proprietary features.

Element Pro is our next-generation workplace app
If you have an account provided by your employer (e.g. @janedoe:element.com) you should download Element Pro. This app is designed for commercial use and is based on the free and open source Element X: our next-generation app.
As we head into the final month of 2025 we’re wrapping up the year with one last release of Element Pro. Installing version 25.12 will net you the following changes:
• You can now see when messages are still sending (or failed to send) from your Chats list.
• Edited messages are properly reflected in the Chats list. No more worrying about that embarrassing typo!
• Offline detection is now lightning fast and doesn’t leave you in limbo wondering what’s going on.
• Read receipts no longer disappear when somebody changes their name.
• The app now requires iOS 18 or above.
