Performance improvements

On the lineup screen Players are now visually grouped by projected playing time

Own goal recording. You can now track own goals with a dedicated event. Either tap on a player and tap on own goal or tap on the score and tap on own goal, select the side and optionally assign a scorer. Happy own goal scoring ! It's all part of the game.

Improved loading performance in Lineup screen Added placeholders when match format is not filled Tap on a placeholder to quickly select a player from the bench Placeholders disappear once the set match format is filled E.G. 7v7

Preview Timeline Preview all rotation blocks before starting the match. Edit rotation pairings ahead of time using the new preview timeline in the lineup screen.

Introducing Goal Keeper management via additional swap roles. You can now single tap on a player in the lineup and give that player a Goal Keeper role. Or tap on the keeper and see all the Goal Keepers and the GK rotation plan at once. Also includes various other improvements for a better experience.

You can now adjust pairings for the next upcoming substitutions. So that you can for example swap player A to sub with C instead of B.

Performance improvements and preparations for the next round of updates

You can now set custom break formats, allowing for settings like 3 periods of 15 minutes each.

Report Engine V1 - generate comprehensive reports for all your previous matches. To use it simple head over to the Match History Tab. Report Engine will apply to all your previously ended games.

Introducing a formation and pitch view - The Coach Meister way Perfectly smooth drag and drop and integration into a combination of pitch and lists for a best in class subs manager experience. Introducing colour coded substitution partner indicators. Pitch view and list view can be toggled live during games using the new button in the top right corner of the match screen. Enforced lineup - Coach Meister now alerts you if you have to many players on the field with the option to change the number of player on the field or remove a player. Animation for displaced players, so when you carry out a sub you now see visually where the player is going. Works across pitch and list.

Minor bug fix and wording update: Significant improvements to the Rotation Plan view, bringing this app a mighty step closer to the original long term vision I created for SubNow. This is the final-final update for 2025 - thank you for a great year of learning, and here’s to a great 2026. Thank you to everyone who gave my new app a chance this year.
