History Duel: Trivia Quiz
History Quiz vs Histobot
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
New: 11 more themes, 31 in all — and the app now speaks French and Spanish. Every theme is free when you duel a friend.
Test your knowledge of history — anytime, alone, against Histobot.
Histobot is your AI opponent: it answers, it makes mistakes, and it plays at the speed you choose. No waiting for a human opponent, no empty lobbies. Open the app and play.
31 HISTORICAL THEMES, 930 QUESTIONS
From the Big Bang to the Vikings, from Ancient Egypt to the Punic Wars, from Alexander the Great to Marco Polo. Ancient history, Europe, the Americas, Asia, the Islamic world, and great historical figures. Questions never come back until you have played a theme all the way through.
FIVE WAYS TO BE TESTED
Multiple choice. True or false. Falling dates you must catch in the right order. Answers that appear one at a time — tap when the right one shows. Trivia rounds. Each theme mixes them, so no two rounds feel the same.
THREE DIFFICULTY LEVELS
Easy, Normal, Hard. Histobot answers correctly more often and faster as you raise the stakes — and the harder you beat it, the more your score counts on the leaderboard.
TWO LEADERBOARDS
Histobot Challenge ranks solo players. Duel Champions ranks head-to-head games. Compete without ever needing to be online at the same time as someone else.
CHALLENGE A FRIEND
Game Center multiplayer is included and always free — all 31 themes, for both players, with nothing to buy. Pick your theme, your friend picks theirs, and you play both.
FREE TO PLAY
Eight themes are free in solo play, with all five question types and every difficulty level. Unlock the remaining 23 for solo with a single purchase — no subscription, no ads, ever.
Available in English, French and Spanish.

NEW IN 3.0
11 NEW THEMES — 31 themes and 930 questions in all, including Alexander the Great, the Punic Wars, Ancient Mesoamerica and Marco Polo.
FRENCH AND SPANISH — Every question and every anecdote is translated, not just the buttons. In an online duel between two languages, each player reads the questions in their own.
EVERY THEME FREE IN DUELS — All 31 themes are now open to both players in an online duel, whatever either of you owns.
NO MORE REPEATS — The game remembers what it has asked you. Replay a theme and it serves fresh questions until you have seen all thirty.
Plus: seven redrawn theme icons, text that no longer gets cut off on smaller screens, and a steadier Game Center connection.
