No new features this time, just everything back where it belongs. - Mind the Gap: The mini player no longer parks on top of the tab bar on iOS 27. - Sharing Is Caring (Again): Sharing a show's feed from a menu opens the share sheet again, and sending an episode to Notes, AirDrop or Files works on the first try. - Line Up, Please: Plain-text transcripts stay in order instead of shuffling their lines like a deck of cards. - Found Words: Some transcripts that showed up blank now load properly. - Show Notes, Not Code: Show notes with embedded images no longer spill out pages of gibberish. - Cancel Means Cancel: Cancelling a transcription or a loudness analysis now stops exactly that one, never its neighbor, and leaves a friendly Generate button instead of an error. - Take Turns: Starting several transcriptions or analyses finishes them one after another, instead of the newest one elbowing the others aside. - Download Diplomacy: Cancelling a transcription no longer cancels a download you started yourself, and cancelling a download no longer leaves its transcript waiting forever. - Transcribe When Downloaded: If an episode is already downloading, the transcript view shows the progress and can start transcribing the moment it lands. - Plain Words: When a download fails, you're told why in plain language, the same way everywhere.

Auto-Level, Transcription Languages & a New Feed Engine Auto-Level: Nuotit measures each episode's loudness on your device and plays it at your target level. Pick Streaming, Podcast, Broadcast, or Audiobook loudness. If an episode can't be raised all the way safely, the analysis view tells you how much Vol Boost to add. Transcription languages: Choose a default transcription language, and override it for a show or a single file. Regenerate a transcript in another language, or delete generated transcripts you no longer need. Smarter background work: Transcripts, chapters, and loudness are processed in a prioritized queue. Turn on "Analyse while the app is open" to use idle time while you listen; it pauses when the app is busy, in Low Power Mode, or when the device is warm. A new feed engine: Feed updates are faster and lighter, unchanged feeds are skipped, episodes are matched more accurately, and shows whose feed has moved are followed automatically. If a feed stops working, the show tells you why and lets you find or enter its new address. Duplicate copies of the same show are merged. Downloads & storage: Downloaded files are checked before they're accepted, error messages are clearer, and a download you remove stays removed. Downloading an episode from search no longer adds the whole show. Storage management shows a clearer breakdown and never removes your imported files. Playback: Play/pause stays in sync with Control Center and the Lock Screen, and playback resumes reliably after another app's audio ends. Audio knobs now accept typed values and work with VoiceOver. Also new: Share Episode from the Playing view, larger menu buttons, and pasting (including ⌘V) keeps your order and skips duplicates. OPML import skips duplicate shows. Performance & stability: Large libraries stay responsive, with many fixes throughout. The first launch after updating may take a little longer while your library is upgraded.

Parametric EQ & Headphone Profile Imports • 12-Band Parametric EQ: The equalizer has been upgraded from 9 to 12 bands, allowing for more precise control with adjustable Q values, a pre-amp, low/high shelves, and notch (bandstop) filters. • Import Headphone EQs (Premium): You can directly import standard Parametric EQ (PEQ) files, making it simple to apply specific autoEQ profiles tuned exactly for a headset. • Visual Audio Charts: The audio chart now plots all active EQ bands alongside the low and high-pass filters. Curve colors have also been tweaked for better visibility in Light Mode. • Smarter Audio Profiles: AI Audio Assist now prompts to confirm if adjustments should be saved as a new profile. Episode-specific audio profile application is now more reliable, and fallback behavior has been cleaned up for deleted profiles. • Stability & Refinements: The app now remembers if the floating transcript pill was hidden or visible between sessions, and pausing audio features a smoother fade-out. Finally, under-the-hood audio engine optimizations prevent playback glitches, alongside other minor bug fixes and general performance improvements.

Picture-in-Picture Captions & Polish • Read Anywhere (Premium): Introducing Picture-in-Picture (PiP) for transcripts! When you background the app, your audio's captions will now float in a PiP window, letting you read along while using other apps. • Smoother Navigation: Tapping a caption from the floating player now correctly directs you straight to the Playing transcript tab with all your playback controls readily visible. • Responsive Playlists: Fixed a visual delay so marking an episode as played/unplayed now updates instantly in your playlist view. • Playback Reliability: Squashed several bugs that could cause the audio to resume muted or the playhead to jump out of place after backgrounding the app, restarting the audio engine, or skipping while paused. • Visual Tweaks: Fixed an issue to ensure your library thumbnails always stay perfectly sized.

Quick Polish We’re thrilled you’re enjoying the massive Transcript and Chapter upgrades from our last update! We found a few loose screws left over after the launch and quickly tightened them up: • Target Practice: We made the toolbar buttons in the Transcript view larger so you don't need pinpoint precision to tap them. • Time-Traveling Player: Fixed the floating player so it correctly shows your progress for the current chapter when in Chapter mode, rather than showing the time for the whole episode. • Timestamp Consistency: Telling the transcript to hide timestamps will now properly hide them for chapter headers, too. • Crash Squashed: Fixed a bug that could crash the app when toggling chapters inside the transcript view.

Playback & Audio Enhancements • Better Audio Routing: Your playback position is now preserved if you're interrupted by a phone call or switch headphones (like reconnecting your AirPods). • Smarter Continuous Play: Continuous play now works for individual Shows, not just playlists. It also anticipates when you're nearing the end of an episode and pre-downloads the next one in the background to help prevent audio stalls. • Reliable Timers & Actions: The Sleep Timer now works consistently even if the app goes into the background. We’ve also tightened up Control Center syncing and made "play after download" much more responsive. Transcript & Chapter Upgrades • Unified Chapters & Transcripts: When available, chapters now act as headers directly within the transcript view, making it much easier to read along and find your place. • Chapter Player Controls: The player now features dedicated chapter controls, allowing you to easily skip and scrub through audio within individual chapters. • Quick Copy: You can now copy transcript text per chapter directly to your clipboard to easily save or share quotes. • Easy Toggling: A new toggle lets you switch between viewing the transcript on its own or alongside the chapter list. Holiday Hotfix: The Elves Checked the List Twice! It turns out the North Pole workshop was a little too eager after the big launch: Caption Chaos: The elves were so proud of the new captions that they were wrapping them into every clip package, even if you didn't ask for them! We’ve reminded them to follow the gift tags—now captions will only appear when you want them to. Sleigh Control: Fixed a slippery bug where the timeline would lose its grip when loading a new file.
