I always had a hard time finding apps that actually gave that real vintage camera look. I tried so many editing apps, messing with filters and colors, but it never truly felt vintage. The tones would kind of resemble it, sure, but it didn’t capture that authentic, nostalgic feeling I was looking for. I had only been on Instagram for a little while when I randomly came across an ad for Snap It. I paused for a second and decided to download it right away. While it was installing, I felt a little unsure cause usually apps don’t really provide the best qualities like they claim to. But after it finished downloading, I tried one of the free cameras, and the results surprised me. The photos actually looked and felt vintage. Without even second guessing it, I bought the subscription and didn’t regret it at all. This app is seriously perfect for anyone who loves vintage photos but doesn’t have access to real vintage cameras. It gives you 36 different vintage camera styles in one app, plus editing tools to adjust everything how you like. You can also take videos using multiple camera styles inside the app, or record a video with your phone’s built in camera and then edit it later with whatever vintage camera style you want on Snap It. I will say and be honest, the app has a tendency to glitch or lag, but just work through it and you will get results. I might sound a little over dramatic, but this app genuinely means a lot to me. I’ve always loved anything vintage, and finally finding something that captures that feeling so well just hits different.

I love the app so far that I even paid for the monthly subscription but I’m not sure what’s going on, everytime i snap a pic it crashes and exits me out the app . I’ve updated my phone and made sure the app was up to date but nothing seems to fix this issue :/
