**TL;DR:** It’s fast, it’s easy, and it has everything I need. Fantastic work!Welling is by far the fastest and easiest way I’ve found to track calories. Whether you log by describing your food, using a photo, scanning a barcode, or scanning a label, it is incredibly quick and intuitive. The photo and description features are accurate to the label within 5% in most cases, and even closer if you describe your meal in more detail. The voice-to-text feature makes logging even faster. Its ease of use makes staying consistent less of a hassle, which is the most important thing for me.My favorite thing about the app is how you can actually talk to it. If I ask how my day is looking so far, it gives me a quick rundown. If I need to know how much more protein I need, it tells me instantly and even suggests good ways to get there. It also gives feedback after you log a meal, letting you know what was great or what could be improved, with gentle suggestions or alternatives.UPDATE: The app continues to improve with regular updates, and I’m happy to see the team is already working on writing nutrition data to Apple Health. The support team is responsive and open to feedback, which makes me excited to stick with the app long-term.Looking forward to seeing where this goes. As a myfitness pal veteran of 3 plus years I was a bit skeptical of using something different, my busy schedule made me quite nervous to make the change over as I was mostly worried about the learning curve and taking the extra time to log my meals, that was put to rest on the first entry the AI automation is absolutely it’s as simple as sending a text message and as if that’s not simple enough you can snap a picture of your meal and it will log it for you, a great time saver and fantastic app

You can also Favorite certain items that you eat often and they are easily reachable directly inside the keyboard for even quicker access.
Perfect Idea Needing Larger Database

I had been looking for a simple food tracker that allowed me to just throw in foods, approximate amounts, and brands, and it give me calories, macros, and an encouraging word. This app just does that. I find it great for people who have previously had a bad relationship with food or dieting in that it’s simple, doesn’t push numbers at you, and leaves positive words with you even if what you’ve eaten isn’t ideal. My only complaint is that branded foods entered (eg a specific brand of protein bar) show up with incorrect — normally higher — calories and have to be manually edited, and then those edits don’t save, so the next time you eat that same item, it has to be fixed again. I imagine this could be fixed by either growing the data being fed into the AI’s database or creating a way to suggest or save edits.

Inaccurate and unreliable, but still cool

The idea is amazing and the ai meal prep feature is neat. However, I’ve found the ai estimations to be extremely unreliable and inconsistent. If you put in the same meal twice, it could give you two different sets of Macros. The app told me that 2 oz of my home cooked meal was 180 calories. I copied the same meal and adjusted for 3 oz and it told me, one extra ounce of the same meal was now 1,600 calories. I have to double check and edit each meal, something I thought I’d be doing very little of while PAYING for an app. Hopefully in a few years the technology is advanced enough to keep up with what this company is advertising. A little annoyed I payed for three months. My expectations were too high.
