What's New in EyeSpy - the holidays, bigger and calmer • Holiday animations for every eye style: during a holiday the surprises play whatever eyes you've picked, not just the holiday styles. • Lots of new animations, a different one each time: a witch crossing the moon, a black cat and spilled candy for Halloween; Santa's sleigh, a gift that pops open and a snowman that builds itself for Christmas; fireworks for New Year's; Cupid's arrow, a love letter and a heart balloon for Valentine's Day; a pot of gold, a rainbow and a rare lucky four-leaf clover for St. Patrick's Day; a hatching chick, a hopping bunny and butterflies for Easter. • Hanukkah: a menorah lit with the right number of candles for each night, a spinning dreidel, falling gelt and a bouncing sufganiyah. • Diwali: a row of diyas lighting up, a rangoli drawing itself, a fizzing sparkler and a glowing sky lantern. • Lunar New Year: swaying red lanterns, popping firecrackers, tumbling red envelopes and red-and-gold fireworks. • The eyes now watch the animations as they play. • Calmer: the animations play much less often, so they stay a nice surprise. • A new Holiday animations switch in the panel during holidays, if you'd rather keep things quiet. It follows the Reduce Motion setting too. • The app icon in the panel and About window dresses up for each holiday. • The eyes yawn before they fall asleep. • Late at night the eyes get tired: slower, heavier blinks and a hint of red. What's New in EyeSpy - the eyes feel more alive • Pumpkin eyes: a spooky jack-o'-lantern style, available through early November. The candle flickers when they blink and blows out when they fall asleep, and watch out for bats, a dangling spider and a ghost that comes right at you! • Holiday styles all year round: Santa with falling snow in December (and confetti for New Year's), Hearts for Valentine's Day, Clover for St. Patrick's Day and Easter eggs in spring. Each one shows up in the menu in its season. • Cyclops: a new eye style with one big monster eye. • Blinking: EyeSpy now blinks naturally every few seconds when your mouse is resting. • Waking up: when you come back after a break, the eyes open with a sleepy blink or two. • Dizzy: spin your mouse in fast circles and watch the eyes get dizzy. • Click the eyes and they wink back. • Leave a tip and the eyes will thank you with a little love. • There are a few hidden surprises too. Some only show up on special days! • Your mouse stats now go back to the day you started, not just the last two weeks. The redesigned Stats dashboard shows 2 weeks, 3 months, 1 year or all time, with summary tiles comparing each period to the one before, a left/right/double click breakdown, per-day averages and a fun distance fact. • CSV export now includes your full history, one row per day. • Fixed a bug where active hours could show a negative number. • Fixed active time not being counted past midnight. • Redesigned About window with a new Help tab that explains eye styles, gaze modes, mouse stats and how to find a hidden menu bar icon. • Effects never play over full-screen apps, respect the Reduce Motion accessibility setting, and pause in Low Power Mode. • Want EyeSpy in your language? • Fixed an issue on macOS 27 where clicking the eyes in the menu bar while the menu was open would close and immediately reopen it. • The menu bar icon now stays highlighted while the menu is open, matching the rest of the menu bar.

• Added status menu animations for a smoother, more polished experience and improved overall UX. • Fixed a notice about the menu-bar icon being hidden that could appear over full-screen apps. • The same notice now correctly appears when the icon really is hidden, including when it's tucked behind the notch.

Fixed: the "icon is hidden in the menu bar" alert could appear incorrectly while a full-screen app was active (e.g. watching a video). The check now waits until you're back on a desktop with a visible menu bar.
