Whether you're on shaky mobile data or switching networks, Icegate holds the line better than before. Performance Improvements Our stack is already lightweight and fast — but we made it even smoother. Less memory, less CPU, no background noise. It’s still written in Rust. Still minimal. Just better. Enhanced Stealth We’ve fine-tuned our Shadowsocks and ShadowTLS layers to blend in even more with regular traffic. This makes Icegate harder to detect, and more resilient against DPI and blocking. Compatibility Voice and video calls (including via messengers) now run more smoothly, especially under low-bandwidth or high-latency conditions. We know how critical this is — and we’re on it. Better Server Selection We’ve made subtle improvements to how Icegate picks a server when you connect. You’ll see fewer connection delays and better speed without manual selection. Coming Soon: Intelligent Routing We’re working on something big — automatic traffic splitting based on your location and usage. That means: Some traffic goes into the tunnel, some doesn’t — automatically. Apps and services that don’t need VPN aren’t slowed down. Better invisibility and faster speed. No more toggling servers, turning VPN on/off, or thinking about "what should go where." You turn on Icegate — and everything just works. That’s the future we’re building.
