We fixed a few minor bugs related to unused fields with null data that were crashing the app, primarily the phoneNumber field. Additionally, one of our dependency libraries had an image rendering bug. We resolved it by updating to the latest version and rebuilding the app. This issue had caused some images to appear with a green tint.

Enhanced push notifications to direct users to the specific room related to the notification. The same enhancement has been applied to local notifications.

Fixed deep link issues with invitations. Now, a new room is created when a user is invited via deep linking, either through the device camera or the in-app scanner.

Fixed an issue with push notification registration on new login or signup. Previously, if the app was already launched, logging in or creating a new account wouldn’t generate a push notification token. Users had to kill and relaunch the app for it to work. This problem has now been resolved.

Users can download images from the chat to their phone. To do this, long press on a thumbnail image to open a menu with a download option. Alternatively, when viewing the larger version of the image, you will find a download icon in the bottom right corner of the page. Click it to download the image.

When images are uploaded, we now generate thumbnails to enable faster browsing. We have also improved screen navigation, loading, and scrolling. Additionally, we have made various bug fixes and enhancements.

We've introduced a new UI with an updated look and feel. The app's new color is blue, which we believe is more suitable as a background color. We've also made security improvements and added QR code support for sharing chat room links.

We've updated how the conversation list behaves in a chat room. Previously, it would start at the top of the list and quickly scroll to the bottom to show the latest messages. Now, it goes directly to the bottom of the list without scrolling, which we believe enhances the user experience. Additionally, we've integrated Crashlytics for more effective bug tracking.

Enhanced the design and clarity of the dialog box displayed when the 'Create New Room' button is clicked. The actions for creating a room and scanning a QR code to join a room have been separated for better clarity.

Added QR code functionality for deep linking. When you're in a room, you can display a QR code for that room by clicking the QR code icon. Another user can join your room by scanning this QR code. They can use the built-in QR scanner by tapping the 'Create New Room' floating button and selecting the 'Join Existing Room' option, or they can use the iPhone Camera app to scan the code on your device. Once scanned, they will be added to your room.

We resolved an issue with a chat message in a new window when sending the first message. User was not able to send a message in a new window for the first time unless a reply was received first. This problem occurred due to changes in the backend which required update of the client.

Added a new look for pdf upload. Users will have a preview of the pdf file that they uploaded. Optionally they can view, print and download the full file.

Location sharing is now available! Users can share their location with others. We've also introduced read receipts, so you’ll know when your messages are seen. Additionally, we’ve implemented a new language selection tool for a better experience. Fixed bugs related to exiting chat rooms. Fixed internationalization issues.

We support multiple push notification clients. Before this version we only supported a single device. We added search for messages in a chat room. Bug fixes. We also added 'sign in with Apple' feature in addition to 'sign in with Google'. We have 'sign in with email' as an alternative to 'Sign in with Apple' and 'Sign in with Google'.
