Much needed support during the Holidays.

There isn’t enough time in the day to take care of the things we need to do, never mind the things we should do. Having a therapist in your pocket is priceless. Even if it’s a tiny tiff with your partner, your parents (cuz they’re never overbearing🤯) or even your kids (who clearly speak a different language) it takes very little time to get the help and solve the tiff with ease. I think it’s a must for everyone. Even if you have a therapist you see on a regular basis. Having a therapist on demand in your pocket, like it said. It’s priceless. Thank you for making this app.

I do like this app and would say that there is sadly not a lot out there like it - but I’m considering cancelling my subscription because I feel that the price is just far too high for what it actually does. Like all ai based products, it is not capable of being truly responsive, it has a basic routine for any given situation. In some ways, this is exactly what therapy is, and so that’s fine. But it can also make one feel, starkly, the absence of a real human. The app is also buggy. That’s to be expected, and since it provides a pretty valuable service not a huge deal. But there’s also this: to start a session you have to start an “individual session” and then announce to the ai that your partner is also there. It takes a solid 3 minutes for startup and imo an app that costs this much should be far more polished.

I think I get self conscious with an in person therapist but I feel pretty open talking with the AI. And it’s not like talking to ChatGPT, it feels very geared towards therapy and doesn’t wander into anything other than that. It also seems to challenge me, which I like, offering real worlds tools, and strategies to deal with the subjects I bring up. Definitely makes me work!
