Creating an event from a description now follows your sentence more closely: correct yourself, like “7 pm—actually, make that 8,” and the suggestion takes the last time. “The Saturday after next” lands on the right Saturday. This update mainly sets your widgets straight: a widget that automatically shows your next event now moves on to the following one after the event day, instead of counting up the one that’s passed. The biggest LifeTicker update yet. The New tab has been rebuilt: just type or say what you’re looking forward to—like “Lena’s birthday on Saturday”—and LifeTicker suggests the event, with the date, an image, and whatever else fits. If something’s missing, it asks a quick question. Suggestions come together right on your iPhone. They need a device with Apple Intelligence; without it, you create events manually, as before. Choosing an image is new, too: search the image templates or Unsplash, or use your own photo and crop it. Calendar import now shows your event before you create it. And the New tab has holidays and special days—from Easter to Halloween—ready to add without typing a thing. You can now edit a suggestion’s note, tasks, and place while creating the event. No big feature this time – just cleaning up. Lots of small fixes that piled up over the past few weeks. One thing is new, though: under Contact you’ll now find “Report a Problem”. Events now carry tasks: packing list, errands, prep – checked off right on the event. On shared events you choose per task what your guests see; guests keep their own list and see your progress. Plus a unified look for all event extras and many small fixes.
