This app has really helped me tune out unnecessary noise and focus on conversation. My husband gets less frustrated because I’m not constantly asking him to repeat himself. However, I do wish that the procedure was a little more streamlined and faster. I find it frustrating that there’s a 2 second countdown between vocal training exercises. Just go straight to the next exercise and don’t ask me if I want to skip the 2 second countdown. I have to tap multiple times (Did I hear correctly? Do I want to repeat? Ready for next step? Etc). I’m recovering from a brain injury and the last thing I need is my brain to get more worn out by tapping unnecessary prompts. This training is a chore (a useful and necessary one, but still) and the less drawn out it is the better. Also, the encouragement halfway through was nice to begin with. But once you’ve used the app for a few months or more it gets annoying. Encourage me at the end, but don’t interrupt me half way through. Completely steals focus and takes me more brain power to get my attention back on track.
Annoying interruptions

Important app to help with boosting hearing performance. But it is slow and laggy with constant load screens everywhere. Also during the exercise please turn off the 2 second delay, it just wastes time and is frustrating to click away every time. And the encouragement messages are repetitive and unnecessary. Please turn it off or give users the ability to turn off all of those features delaying what the user came to do.Also when you get a user to record their voice, it is an inconsistent user experience resulting often in very quiet delivery that even people with perfect hearing cannot understand.
Discriminating conversation from background noise

Lace AI Pro is easy to use and has a good variety of content. It seems logical that practice listening can help us prepare for when we will need it in restaurants and similar noisy places. Because the texts you listen for are read by human-sounding robots, there are sometimes mispronounced words or the emphasis and pacing of speech may be a little off, but that usually doesn’t affect the outcome.
It works!

I told my audiologist that I was having trouble in crowds due to background noise. She told me to try Lace to train my hearing. I was skeptical, but it really does work. As others have said, some of the delays and encouragements can get annoying. Please add an option to get rid of these. But it’s a real help!
