Approve the hours before payday. When a pay period ends, Time cards shows who's approved and who's left. Open someone's week, check their days and approve. Approving locks nothing: if their hours change afterwards, they show as changed, with the days that moved, and wait for you again. Members never see approvals. See what the hours cost. Turn on labor costs and add each person's pay, by the hour or by the day, with your overtime rules. Time cards and the week you're building show what it costs, and picking who works a shift shows what each person would add. Only owners and admins see pay. It's an estimate; whoever runs payroll still does. Reports: who was late, left early or didn't come; labor cost person by person; and who came to your bookings. Export any of them to Excel. Mark who came. Once a booking has started, mark it Came or No-show. Each booking page shows the month so far by service, from your own prices. Alpacca doesn't take payments. On an iPad, Alpacca has a sidebar with everything in it, lists open as tables, and clients, vendors and members open with a cleaner header. The demo has six weeks of history now, and a few things to try, like approving last week's hours. Fixes: a second contact picked from your phone no longer keeps the first person's details, a week that has ended no longer shows hours still scheduled, and more accessibility and Spanish fixes.

Classes and tours at set times. A booking page can now run on dates you set instead of open appointment slots. Guests take a spot on one date, or sign up for a whole course. Set how many spots each date has, skip a date or add a make-up, and run it outside your business hours when you need to. Staff a class as shifts. Whoever runs the class clocks in and out of it, and the hours go on their time card. Your team can pick up or give away a class from their schedule, the same way they do a shift. Suggest a few times. Pick up to 10 times that work for you and send the link to one person. They choose one, and the link closes. Edit subtasks. Add, rename, remove and reorder a task's steps in edit mode. Ticking them off is still one tap. Add your team from your contacts. Pick several people at once, check them over, and add them in one go, with their teams and skills. Polls do two jobs: find a time that works, or make a decision. Each poll has one page for voting and results, you can see who hasn't answered yet, and when it closes everyone hears what was decided. Members hear back when their time card fix is approved or declined. Share the published week as a PDF, and cancel a time off request you no longer need. On iPad: no empty panels, lists sized for reading, search in the title bar, and more detail in each row. Plus faster loading on Home and fixes throughout.

Clock in from your phone. Let everyone, or only the people you choose, clock in from the Alpacca app on their own phone. Each punch records the street it came from. Nobody is tracked in between, and clocking out always goes through. Turn it on in Organization settings under Phone clock-in. See overtime before it happens. Time cards add the shifts still scheduled to the hours already worked and warn you before someone passes a limit. Late starts, early finishes and missed shifts are marked. Alpacca warns you; it doesn't calculate pay. A new Home. Today's schedule shows who's in, who's late and who isn't in yet. Upcoming puts your next shift right beside the button to clock in. Tap anything on Home to open it right there. A new organization starts with one question: what should Alpacca help with first? Shifts, attendance, bookings or the team. Your setup checklist is built around the answer. Picking up a shift shows who's giving it away and their note. The schedule builder takes you straight to a day with a conflict. Members who use the terminal can see their PIN from Home. Plus fixes for tablets, bookings and publishing a week.

Time clock is here. Turn an iPad or tablet you already have into Alpacca Terminal at alpacca.app/terminal and pair it from the app. Your team taps their name and a 4-digit PIN to clock in, take a break and clock out, with no account of their own. It keeps working when the wifi drops. Time cards show every member's week as it happens, keep every correction with who made it and why, and let members ask for a fix on a missed punch. Someone who works more than one job picks which one at clock-in, and their hours split by it. Export hours to Excel, or to PDF with one page per person. Print or share a week once it's published. Clients can choose who they book with on a booking page, or take anyone available. Shifts and Time cards have their own rows in notification settings. Opens faster, starting from what you saw last time while it catches up.

Plans are subscriptions now — monthly, quarterly or yearly, with the price shown before you buy and plan changes any time. Set your organization's business hours, and booking pages and schedules follow them. Publishing a week now warns you which bookings a shift change would strand. A full day, week and month grid on a tablet, in a browser, or with your phone turned sideways. One inbox for what changed, each message with a button that takes you there.

Time off now has a screen of its own: request days away, see what's waiting, and record it for a member from their record. Owners can require approval — switch it on under Organization > Scheduling, and a new absence waits for a decision before it counts. Availability is now just the hours you work, with extra hours in their own section. Fixes: the schedule week shows its dates while loading, shift times use your organization's zone, and opening a week from Home works every time.

Bookings: define your services once — length, price, who performs them — and every booking page sells from the same catalog. Tasks group by when they're due, with bulk select instead of dragging cards. Home is yours to arrange: choose your cards, what each one shows, and their order. Schedules lists every upcoming week and the one thing it needs next. Also: add members from your contacts, search that ignores accents, and asset rows that say who has what.

Plan the week, publish it once. SCHEDULE BUILDER Draft a full week however you like, then publish it in a single step. Nobody sees a half-finished schedule, and everyone is notified when it's ready. COVERAGE Say what each day actually needs, then see the gaps before they turn into a problem. Coverage gaps and pickup requests now appear on Home. PEOPLE WITHOUT ACCOUNTS Add anyone to your roster by name. They can be assigned shifts, put on teams, and scheduled right away, whether or not they ever sign in. If you do want them in the app, send a join link from their profile. AVAILABILITY YOU CONTROL Set a member's working hours yourself instead of waiting on them. It shows on their profile. BOOKING PAGES The share link is now the first thing you see, and each page shows who has booked. Guests are saved as clients automatically, and bookings are named on the calendar. SIMPLER SETUP Creating an organization is a shorter path with fewer choices up front.

Shifts — schedule who works when, right on the calendar your team already uses. Shifts that are short of people get flagged before they become a problem, so you can see a gap while there is still time to fill it. Your team can give a shift away or pick up an open one, and you keep the last word: hand-overs can wait on your approval, and a shift that asks for a qualification can only be taken by someone who holds it.
