- You MUST have a Twilio account. Mango is a client for the Twilio service. A paid Twilio account is required to use Mango.
- You buy phone numbers from Twilio, NOT Mango. Mango does not sell or provide phone numbers. You must purchase them from your own Twilio account dashboard.
- Twilio bills you for usage. All charges for your phone number rental, calls, and messages are billed directly by Twilio according to their pay-as-you-go pricing.
- Mango's subscription is for app features. The optional Mango Pro subscription is a separate charge that unlocks premium features within the Mango app, such as using multiple numbers, managing multiple devices, and advanced voicemail.
- Mango is a third-party app. Mango is not made by Twilio. It is an independent application developed by Code Pharmacy LLC that uses Twilio's official APIs to provide a powerful mobile experience for Twilio users.
- Your data remains private. Mango is a privacy-first app. Your call logs, contacts, and messages are not stored on Mango's servers; they are stored on your device and within your own Twilio account.

Works, notifications need work

It’s a fine app. However, the app will often send you notifications for things. You don’t really care about. Like new app updates, ongoing issues, or just other things that the developer wants to tell you. I’m sure some people appreciate that, but often I get really annoyed because I think I have received a text, but it’s just something about the app. I find these really annoying and wish there was an option to turn them off without turning off all notifications to the entire app.
