Live boat tracking innovative functionality allows boat owners and skippers to track their boats in real time via smartphones, which provides additional safety and peace while sailing.
What is Live Boat Tracking?
Live Boat Tracking is a part of the EmergenSea application that enables constant monitoring of vessels in the ES Call Center, with the support of a team of experienced skippers. These experts are on duty 24/7 to ensure safe sailing for our members and warn you via messages or direct calls regarding all navigational, meteorological, and other hazards and obstacles.
Key Advantages of Live Boat Tracking Functions:
- Real-time Tracking: Track the vessel in real-time via your smartphone. All vessels of our EmergenSea members will be tracked on the interactive nautical chart at
which will be marked with all rocks, wrecks, bridges and other nautical obstacles and dangers.
Notifications will be activated automatically when the vessel moves in the direction of danger. In case of
that the vessel comes dangerously close to the rock or there is a danger of the mast getting caught in the bridge each member will receive a direct call. Automatic notifications will also come in case of bad weather conditions.
- Easy tracking switch off: For those who don't want to be tracked, switch off button is possible with one click.
- Display of Nautical Charts: Access to nautical charts with the nearest gas stations, which is extremely useful for finding the nearest gas station and calculating fuel consumption.
- Additional nautical information.
