New in this release • Suggest a change to an event — members who can't edit events can now propose one. Whoever can edit sees a plain before-and-after of exactly what would change and either applies it or declines with a reason. A suggestion can cover a single date of a repeating event, or a multi-part event's agenda and venues. • Officers and terms — a chapter can set up its offices, install members for a fixed period, and hand the whole slate over in one step when the term turns over. The extra powers an office carries start and stop on their own, so nobody keeps them after they leave the seat. • Multi-part "itinerary" events — a multi-day program with several locations and a day-by-day schedule. Attendees see an agenda grouped by day with each venue tappable to open in maps; sessions that have ended are crossed off and the one happening now is marked "Now". • Smart paste event import — paste your events in any format and the app reads them into events for you. Review and correct every field before anything is created. • The event editor now autosaves — leave and come back and your edits are still there, with undo and redo while you work, and discard to restore the published version. • Add your MYG events to your phone's calendar app. Open Profile → Phone calendar. The events shown follow the calendars you've turned on in MYG, and you can subscribe to individual calendars separately if you'd rather give them their own colours. • Two-step sign-in for everyone. Once your phone number is verified you can ask us to text you a code each time you sign in, and you get one-time recovery codes so losing your phone doesn't lock you out. • Calendars can list their regular meeting schedule, shown on the calendar's page. • Building a role now starts from a preset — basic member, officer, scribe or service hours lead — instead of twenty-odd switches set to off. • Address autocomplete on the calendar request and calendar settings forms. Improvements • The calendar list can be sorted nearest-first or A–Z, groups by the region nearest you, and searching matches a city or state as well as the name. Adding your group's calendar is much easier to find. • Asking to join a calendar now confirms first, tells you what's shared with that calendar's managers, and lets you add a note. A request that was turned down can be cleared once you've read why. • Touch feedback throughout the app, weighted by what you're doing — and a failed action now feels different from one that worked. • Leaving Profile, Calendar info, or a role with unsaved changes warns you first. • A smaller download, and a brand new splash screen — the logo is there from the moment you tap the icon. • Event details now show where an event came from and when it was last updated. • Better screen reader support: buttons that could be read but not pressed now work, search result counts are announced, and headings read as headings. Fixes • When two people edit the same event at once, a save can no longer quietly overwrite the other person's changes. • Cancellation and reschedule notifications now arrive reliably, and all-day event reminders are sent at the right time. • An event moved to a different time on the same day no longer appears twice in the feed, and changing an already-rescheduled event asks whether you're correcting the announced time or moving it again. • Adding an event poster from Files works again on iPhone and iPad. • Panels that ask you to type something no longer get pushed off screen by the keyboard. • The sign-in code box takes either a texted code or a recovery code, and iPhone now offers the texted code above the keyboard. • Replying STOP to a verification text now switches text messages off in your profile too.

Service hours (new) • Log service hours right from an event — your own, or on behalf of another member — and see everyone's logged hours at a glance • Three ways to log: a start/stop timer, dialing a duration on the wheels, or entering start & end times and letting the app work out the length • A running-timer bar stays on screen while the timer runs (swipe up to jump back to the event), and the event's hours card is outlined so you don't forget it's going • Log more than one set of hours on the same event; each entry is tagged Timer or Manual, shows its start–end time, and displays as hours:minutes:seconds in your 12- or 24-hour format • Every entry keeps a change history — who logged or edited it, and when • New "Service hours" area in the management hub to review hours and generate a report with a summary and a per-member breakdown • Calendar admins can turn Service Hours and RSVP on or off per calendar Member blocking (new — for calendar managers) • Block someone from a calendar — either from joining, or from joining and seeing its events — then later unblock or ease it back to view-only • Block straight from a join request, so they can't simply request again • Adjust a block either way at any time: ease a "can't see events" block back to view-only, or escalate a "can't join" block to also hide events • Cross-state heads-up: if someone's been blocked by other calendars in your state, a warning appears on their join request, their member card, and when you invite them by username • If a calendar has blocked you, its listing says so instead of offering "Request access," and its page explains you can't join; if you're blocked from its events, the enable switch becomes a blocked marker and any of its events saved on your device are cleared • Suspended members can still view the calendar and its events (including private ones their role can see) — they just can't manage, RSVP, log hours, or use member features until reinstated Events feed & search • Filter the Events feed by organization and by event status, right from the search bar • Search updates as you type and shows matches immediately — including past events • Pull-to-refresh on the Events and Calendar tabs keeps your place instead of jumping back to today Forms • Required fields are marked, and a rejected save highlights the exact fields to fix (calendar settings, requests, profile, sign-up, event details) • A calendar's address now requires a country Look & feel • Pop-ups across the app (pickers, editors, confirmations) now slide up from the bottom for a consistent feel Platform admins • New cluster-health (with automatic refresh), user-management, and server-log screens Bug fixes • Events search no longer comes back empty until you scroll — matches load right away • The search bar no longer disappears, jumps to the top, or loses focus while you type • Fixed the app occasionally showing "No Internet Connection" while it was actually online • An event's logged-hours list opens as a sheet showing only the day you're viewing, so a repeating event's other dates no longer mix together • Fixed a crash when opening the service-hours report screen

Notifications & requests • Approving a calendar request notifies the requester; tapping it opens the newly joined calendar • Request/approval notifications reliably reach the requester and the calendar's admins (previously could be dropped) • Tapping a request/invitation/waitlist notification highlights the exact card it takes you to • Tapping a notification for an already-handled join request explains the outcome (withdrawn, approved, or declined) instead of opening an empty screen • Calendar admins are notified when someone joins via an invite link • Reminders for a recurring event open the correct occurrence, not the series' original date Quiet hours • "Send queued now" button in Notification settings immediately delivers anything held back by quiet hours • Turning quiet hours off flushes any notifications held while it was on Audit log (advisors/admins) • The audit log shows what changed on an edit — tap an entry to see each field's old and new value (events, calendar settings, roles, member details) • Advisors can delete/reschedule events, keep private per-member notes, and review a per-calendar audit log Events — posters & rescheduling • Attach a poster while creating a new event (picked up front, attached automatically on save) • Marking an event Rescheduled shows its original date and labels the time fields as the new time • The "moved to" marker on a rescheduled event's original day is cleaner; single days of a repeating event get the same marker • Events can be marked Postponed; private role-limited events show a Private badge • New-event button opens to the day you're viewing and remembers the last calendar you added to Events feed • Events no longer go missing when scrolling up or after a search; pagination no longer gets stuck; clearing a search keeps you on the day you were viewing • Attendees appear in their own section on the event card Screens & refresh • Membership, waitlist, and other management/list screens refresh every time you open them (no stale data) • Calendar Requests moved to the + button Appearance & forms • The Appearance page keeps a live preview pinned at the top while settings scroll beneath • Keyboard "Next" button no longer skips every other field • A new event's default visibility now matches the calendar's default Privacy • Profile photos are shown only to people you share a calendar with or who've requested to join; tapping a photo opens it full-screen Account • Email-verification reminder before newsletter subscribe; auto-subscribe once verified • Fixed a case where your password might not be saved after registering

This update is the biggest one yet — what used to be a simple read-only calendar viewer is now a full management app for DeMolay, Rainbow, and Job's Daughters members. For the first time, you can create your own MYG account and sign in with email, phone, or username, or just continue as a guest if you want to look around without signing up. The events experience has been completely rebuilt: a redesigned color-coded feed, a swipeable month calendar with daily agendas, recurring events that show every occurrence, event posters, status badges for cancelled or rescheduled events, RSVPs with a guest count, and the ability to bookmark individual events to a list. Calendar selection is now searchable and filterable, automatically sorts the closest chapters near you to the top, and lets you join through a request workflow with status tracking or a quick invite link or QR code — you'll only see events for the chapters you've actually opted into. New push notifications keep you in the loop on upcoming events and tap straight into the event you care about — set your own reminder times so nothing slips by, or let weekly and monthly email digests round up the highlights in your inbox. A brand-new offline mode means recently loaded events are still there when your signal isn't. Advisors get a redesigned management area to create, edit, and post events, manage members, attach posters, and review join requests — no more bouncing out to a browser to update a calendar.
