I dont understand why money is literally the center of this app and not making friends? What is the point??? Limit us sure whatever but why am i buying friends??? Yes i could do it in person if you want to get smart but everybody lives a different life therefore you made the app to make connections. Idc about hillary in new york when im all the way in florida?? What sense does that make. Do better, my concerns are all listed take it or leave it alyke!

I would give this app a higher rating if they let you have access to your friend requests. Because the fact you don’t, defeats the entire purpose of this app. There is Alyke plus, you gotta pay for access of like 90% of the app. I can’t see how you can make friends here if you don’t pay for plus. If you don’t, it’s an extremely slow process and honestly rare to make friends. The app has potential. I do like that you can see someone’s profile and get to know them a bit, rather than a swipe method of just seeing appearances that make it feel like a dating app. I also like the idea of it finding you the best matches and such. Including the verification, it makes it feel more safe and reliable. But ultimately, the fact you have to pay for everything ruins it. I can’t access ANY of my friend requests so I can’t make any friends.

I was really hopeful when I saw this app on an advertisement. It seemed like a cool platform to find other female friends. However, I gave it a shot and paid $40 for the month. Which seemed like a really steep price tag but I figured I’d give it a go anyway. The search function doesn’t exist. You can’t search in your location you can search in a 90 mile radius or the entire United States. There’s no way to be specific. You can’t tell who is a premium service user and who’s not. I sent multiple hellos and how are you’s, your hope looked amazing, types of messages to multiple female people and never once could I see where I sent them, if they were read, if they weren’t delivered, etc etc etc. Never did I receive a chat from anyone else (females or males). Save your money. This app isn’t worth it.

I really like this app because you can make friends with people who have similar interests. The app layout is pretty much similar to Hinge, but with a twist. I really wish that you could specify a specific city you want instead of trying to find others around the US. Don’t get me wrong, it’s very useful, but if you're looking to make friends in your city, it is doable, but with a very limited radius, since it is difficult. I understand this app is relatively new. What could be improved is the ability to choose the city where you want to make friends, instead of a whole US radius.
