Connectivity issues have resolved since the update last week. Still buggy, where the faces get randomly changed (color options revert uncontrollably), but I’ve seen a definite improvement since launch.

Keeps losing Bluetooth connection
JMP778
Updated: Updated the app to the newest version 1.0.2. It work for a day but once I took the watch off to charge, the same problems I mentioned below are happening. I really think Tag Heuer needs to send out an apology to us that bought this watch and some kind of timeline as to when this will be remediated. An acknowledgement of owning their mistake would go a long way. I basically have an old school digital Casio watch right now, I hope they realize that.I am constantly losing Bluetooth connection on my new E5 Golf Edition, which is preventing me for receiving up-to-update health status and notifications. I’ve attempted to resolve this by pulling down on the main page within the app to refresh the connection, but this action does not yield any results. Restarting the watch sometimes temporarily resolves the issue, but the connection loss inevitably recurs. The watch will eventually reconnect unexpectedly. You would think basic functionality wouldn’t be an issue with a premium watch like this. I’m about to return this thing. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing until they resolve this issue.

Pretty good, but…

Version 1.0.3 definitely connects to watch faster now, BUT very slow to update step count from watch. Took almost 1 hour for steps to get synced from watch to connect app/apple heath.Ongoing app issues:(a) Can’t configure complications in the app? You can only set them on the watch itself? Seems like a bug or big oversight.(B) connect app is VERY slow (like several hours) to update current location for the weather complication. I often travel by train, and the location is always stale. Location services only shows “location accessed in last 24 hours”, even re-loading the app should force a location update and “location recently used” (purple arrow) but does not. (C) Live Activity (notifications) from aome apps (ie. Apple Sports app) do not appear on the watch.(D) need ability to do screen captures of the watch screen (every other smart watch/device has this ability)!(E) PLEASE add a confirmation when deleting a face from the watch itself. It’s so touchy swiping thru faces that deleting a face by accident is very easy. Or let me lock faces.(F) I deleted iOS app XYZ from my iPhone, but app XYZ still shows up in the Connected app (and watch) notifications list. That app should automatically deleted from the list.(G) I’m not a runner, let me hide the huge running workout section in the app! Wasted space

The most beautiful watch no one will ever see
3rd House
I wanted to love this watch. But the display is unreadable 99.5% of the time. You can only see the display for a meager 5 seconds at a time before it dims out. I get the battery benefits of this, but PLEASE give owners the ability to disable auto dim. Make us tap a check box that acknowledges it will drain the battery. Fine. The dials are beautiful, but I want to be able to see them. I want other people to be able to see them. Right now I just have an expensive watch that nobody can see. PS-I gave myself a month to try to love this watch given the amount of money spent. Ultimately I couldn’t live with the dim display and decided to return it. Oops! Tag only offers a 14-day return policy. Now I’m stuck. Just be aware if you want to return your watch for the same reason.
